Well, this is interesting with two and soon three and then two separate groups going. Oy! Just what my pea brain at the moment doesn't need :).
I'm so flummoxed that when I went to the grocery at approximately noon I forgot to put my cooked chicken and turkey in the fridge. Well, that was about 4 hours ago. But since they're cooked, I figure they're still safe. Guess I'll know when I eat them.
Went to the hospital briefly thanks to Jenna who carted me around. Mom seems to be a bit better but we still don't have a diagnosis from the cardiologist. They've got her on bronchial clearing meds and something to stabilize the heart rate which is supposedly talking effect. I finally spoke with the doctor by phone and she claims she'll call me to update on the cardiology. I'm not holding my breath. IF the cardiologist approves she'll probably go home early in the week or move to Northwestern. Even if she goes home we'll have to figure out a way for her to see a cardiologist that is affiliated with her/my doctor blah blah. It may have been a mild heart attack or ......????? At least she slept last night and is in fairly good humor today. Ended up buying a new cell and to get the one I wanted had to pay $55 and resign my contract. However the battery would have been $50 so I think I did the right thing. Too bad I also had to pay the month I was behind at the same time - a very expensive morning - but now I'm caught up on all "regular" bills.
Barring an "emergency" I'm not going back to the hospital until Monday afternoon. I'm pretty sure Linds is going tomorrow and I am in desperate need of some r&r and I have to do some work if I have any hope of getting any money this month. Would be nice if I also found a little time/energy for some packing.
And that's all I know at the moment! Gotta go eat something - haven't touched food all day!
