Peaceful -- Ohhhh, yes, just what I needed, another tutorial !!  It looks like you found a good link.  I'll print it out and maybe try it over the weekend.  It took me long enough to try the Ommadawn Slats tutorial.  I have to be in the mood.

The first sig -- the one with the purple fairy -- I just followed the slats tutorial from this link
and used Toadie's Ommadawn and Xenofex 1.0's Baked Earth.  On the text, I used Baked Earth and Eye Candy's Glass.

On the Siamese Cats, I'm not exactly sure but I think I also used Baked Earth and Ommadawn, mainly because I like that effect.  To get the effect where the background cats look like they're lighter than the main cat graphic, I just lightened the background on that particular layer (using that sliding arrow thingee).  To get the glittery noise effect, I used DSB Flux's version of Noise (it's done using 3 layers and you apply a different version of the noise to each layer -- but you also need Animation Shop).  The circle around the cats is from Filters Unlimited.

Those plug-ins are fantastic, aren't they?  I had so many plug-ins loaded into Paint Shop Pro, I finally just put some into a temp folder because I can't deal with all of them at the same time.  I want to get to know a few at a time so I'm only keeping the ones I use regularly.  My favorites so far are:  Eye Candy, Filters Unlimited, Xenofex 1.0, DSB Flux, Toadies and Visman (also called VM).  But I know there are others that I'm forgetting ... I'm at work, so I'm doing this from memory.  There's a new one I just downloaded a few days ago -- I think it's called Unplugged.  It looks promising.

Check out the Good Morning thread.  I have another slat tag.
