Tenay: Here comes JBL who defeated Maven last night thanks to Raven though Tony: JBL's Chief of Staff Orlando Jordan is by his side as usual "Tough Enough" hits, Crowd Boo's Penser: There opponents, The Team of Maven and Jackie Gayda Tenay: Maven and Jackie Gayda both want to get back on the winning end of things tonight and btoh are determined WCW Mixed Tag Team Tournament Round 1: Maven & Jackie Gayda vs JBL & Christy Hemme W/Orlando Jordan The Bell sounds to start the match as Maven and JBL start things off. JBL tells Maven he is going to whip his ass just like last night and Maven looks rather pissed by the comment and slaps JBL across the face as JBL turns his head back and points at Maven and tells him nobody does that to him but Maven kicks JBL in the gut and Maven then opens on JBL with several right hands backing JBL up into the ropes and Maven then whips JBL off the ropes and Maven hits a picture perfect dropkick on him. JBL gets back up to his feet as Maven meets him with several kicks to the gut of JBL as Maven then goes for and hits a snap suplex on JBL. JBL gets back up grabbing his back as Maven then hits another dropkick to JBL knocking JBL into the corner as Maven then rolls up JBL for a 1---2--kick out. Both men get back up as Maven hits a clothesline knocking down JBL and Maven then goes up top as JBL gets back up and Maven comes off looking for a crossbody but JBL catches Maven and JBL then hits a fallaway slam on him Maven. JBL gets back up as does Maven and JBL goes for a Big Boot but Maven ducks and Maven then hits a DDT on JBL. Maven gets back up and Maven goes up top again and Maven comes off and hits a Missile dropkick on JBL taking him down. Maven then covers JBL for a 1--2--kick out. Maven can not believe it and Maven stomps away at JBL as JBL starts to get back up and Maven goes go whip JBL off the ropes but JBL reverses sending Maven off and JBL connects with a Big Boot on Maven. JBL then goes over and tags out to Christy Hemme as Jackie Gayda is also entered in the match automatically as Jackie comes in and Christy attacks Jackie coming into the ring. Christy then whips Jackie off the ropes and Christy puts her head down as Jackie stops and Jackie kicks Christy right in the face as Christy grabs her face as Jackie then hits a modified RKO on Christy. Jackie though does not go for a pin. Jackie picks up Christy Hemme and whips her into the corner and Jackie starts to stomp away at Christy in the corner. Jackie Gayda then picks up Christy and hair tosses her across the ring and Jackie spears down Christy once Christy starts to get up and Jackie starts to smack Christy's head off the mat several times. Jackie then gets back up and picks up Christy and Jackie whips Christy off the ropes and Jackie goes for a Hurricanrana pin but Christy manages to counter that into a powerbomb. Christy then wipes her lip off which is bleeding and Christy waits as Jackie gets back up and Christy goes for the Hemme Love but Jackie ducks and Jackie kicks Christy in the gut and Jackie hits a devastating DDT on Christy. Jackie covers Christy for a 1---2--2.9-JBL pulls Jackie off. JBL then picks up Jackie but Jackie ends up slapping JBL across the face and then kicking him south of the border as JBL falls on his butt in pain. Orlando Jordan then gets on the apron but Jackie goes over and Jackie slaps him as well knocking him off the apron but Christy then rolls up Jackie for a 1--2--2.6-kick out. Jackie Gayda gets back up as does Christy and Jackie and Christy start to exchange right hands as Jackie gets the upper hand and Jackie whips Christy into the corner and Jackie kicks away at Christy in the corner but JBL goes over behind Christy and tags himself in as Referee Chris Kay informs Jackie as Maven enters the ring as Jackie is pissed. JBL and Maven lock up with JBL locking in a headlock on Maven but Maven sends JBL off the ropes as Maven drops down as JBL goes over top of Maven and Maven springs up and Maven hits a big powerslam on JBL. Maven then goes up top but Raven appears in the entry way which causes Maven to get off the top and Maven tells Raven to bring it as JBL gets back up and JBL bounces off the ropes as Maven turns around and JBL hits the clothesline from hell. JBL covers Maven for the 1---2--2.9-shoulder up. JBL can't believe it. JBL picks up Maven and JBL sets him up for the Powerbomb and picks him up but Maven fights back and goes down the back for a sunset flip for a 1---2--3. Jamie responds back by symbolizing that Jamie has a title and he don't. Danny pushes down Jamie and starts giving him the boots. The ref tells Danny to back off but Danny doesn't as the ref starts counting-1...2...3...4..Danny lets off, looking at the ref. Danny goes over to Jamie and lifts him up and goes for a whip but Jamie counters and sends Danny into the corner. Jamie goes over to splash Danny and connects with it. Danny falls down on all 4's when Jamie slaps Danny in the back of the head. Danny gets up and gets in Jamie's and they both start exchanging right and left hand blows. Danny is able to overpower Jaime and backs him into the corner. Danny starts choking Jamie when the ref starts counting-1...2...3...4 Danny breaks the hold. Danny taunts the crowd as Beyonce encourages Jaime to get up. Danny taunts the crowd tells the crowd that he and Doug will be the next Tag Team Champions. Danny walks over to Jamie but Jamie gets up and charges at Danny, but Danny moves and trips Jamie. Danny laughs at Jamie. Jamie gets up and pushes Danny down and gives him right and left hand knuckle sandwiches. Orlando gets on the apron and distracts the ref. Doug goes around to the other side and tries to get in but Beyonce tries to stop him, but Doug pushes Beyonce down. Doug pulls Jamie off Danny and sends him into the corner. Doug gets out of the ring as Orlando gets off the apron and Danny slowly gets up. Danny sees Jamie in the corner and splashes him. Danny then whips Jamie into the ropes and clotheslines him. Danny goes for the pin-1...2...kickout. Danny argues with the ref but the ref says it was a 2 count. Danny gets up and stands Jamie up. Danny starts delivering chops to Jamie and then a right hand blow knocking Jamie down once again. Danny laughs at Jamie and then at Beyonce. Beyonce gets on the apron and mouths off Danny as the ref tells her to step down off the apron. Danny turns around and is hit by The Last Breath. Jamie goes for the pin when the ref pays attention and counts-1...2...Orlando starts to distract the ref himself. Jamie gets up and walks over to Orlando as Doug goes over to the other side and pushes Beyonce down and snickers at her. Doug pushes Danny out of the ring and lays down himself. Orlando smiles as the ref looks at him funny. Jamie does back to Doug and pins him again-1...2..kickout. Doug quickly gets up and hits a combo on Jamie. Doug hits the Ball and Gag on Jamie and goes for the pin-1....2....3 Winner: Danny Basham Penser: Your winner, Danny Basham Tony: The Damn Basham's just switched places and cost Jamie Gunz this match Madden: Hats off to the Basham's for that!! Tony: The Crowd is firmly behind Christian here Tenay: Well last night Christian retained his WCW World Title not against Hulk Hogan but against The Hurricane after Hulk Hogan did not make it to the arena after a auto accident which the S.C. is rumored to have some involvement in Madden: You can't prove that Christian W/Tyson Tomko vs The Undertaker Christian starts the match up by running at Taker, trying to knock him down, but Christian just bounces off of Undertaker. Undertaker looks down at Christian and grabs him by the throat and rises Christian up to his level. Undertaker then smiles at Christian when Christian looks up at Undertaker. Christian gets up and wants to lock up with Taker. Taker agrees and they both lock up in the middle of the ring. Taker overpowers Christian and pushes him into the corner. Taker turns around and takes 1 step forward when Christian runs at Taker knocking him down. Christian starts laying the boots to Taker. Christian tries to lift up Taker but cant. Christian walks away from Taker when slowly sits up and looks at Christian. Undertaker gets up as Christian gets a shocked look. Taker walks slowly to Christian as Christian gets out of the ring. The ref starts counting-1....2....3....4....5....6 Christian slides in the ring to break up the count. As soon Christian gets in the ring, Taker meets him by giving him a boot to the face, knocking Christian back outside. Undertaker climbs out of the ring and walks slowly towards Christian. Tyson starts coming but Taker gives Tyson a look as Tyson stops dead in his tracks. Taker tells Tyson to come on but Tyson doesn't and backs away. Taker then turns his attention back to Christian and starts wailing on the Undertaker. Christian whips Taker to the ring, but Taker catches himself. Taker turns around and looks at Christian. Christian runs at Taker but Taker gives Christian a big boot. Taker picks up Christian and throws him into the ring over the top rope. Taker gets back in the ring and lifts up Christian. The Undertaker Chokeslams Christian and goes for the pin-1....2...Tyson gets in the ring and distracts the ref. Taker gets up and gives Tyson a combo, then whips him to the ring. Taker runs and clotheslines Tyson over the top rope. Taker looks down at Christian and goes for another pin-1....2...kickout! |
