Welcome Joy. As info someone by that name who is a recent grandmother as well as a red head who kissed the blarney stone exchanged words and pics in another group. In that group I am known as Gart or Gart2 like here. Maybe it is a coincidence but the Joy I know is from the south and west of the UK. Let us know either way the people here are helpful.

Sent an email to the Joy I contact in the UK and here is part of her reply to me.....

Hi Gart,

Sorry, but no, that is not me, I have not applied to any new groups for ages.........I do go and nosey around in the open ones, and do go to snag groups and copy some of their pictures up for snag (that is quite ethical, they are put there for anyone to use), but as for joining a group, sorry, no, not me. You will have to let me know more about this other Joy LOL.

You are welcome to email me anytime you ever feel like it Gart, and any questions you have about the UK or England, I will be happy to answer, as I always say, if I don't know the right answer, I can at least make up a bloody good wrong one - wink wink.

You can probably tell, I loved my holiday in Ireland - and we just today paid for the one we will be taking up in Scotland in December. It seems to me that since DH was told he is clear of cancer, he seems to have renewed lease of life, now he wants to travel more too - but the one place I will NEVER take him to, is the USA, that is MY bolt hole LOL.

Thanks for the warm welcome I am a different Joy...LOL I am a 39 yr old SAHM & live in New England with my hubby, two sons, dog, cat and bunny.

I'm looking forward to poking around the site and getting to know everyone better.
