In Sept 2001 we went on an inside passage ship to three cities in Alaska and a few years ago my wife went with her sister and two of her sisters girl friends to Hawaii. 

Other than that outside of a few bus trips to Washington State and car trip to relatives [in laws in Walla Walla, WA]  plus one trip to California since moving to Oregon in 1999 to retire - I have seldom been out of the state or further than 100 miles from our home in this Old Folks Village.  Neither of us have ever visited any foreign country other than Canada.  In short we have traveled less since retirement than before, but that is not saying a lot because we rarely traveled very far before retirement nine years ago. 

Hi there :o)  Sorry but I was on holiday & then been busy as the boys are still off school until next week.  We've been outbuying school shoes, trousers etc & getting them all ready for the start of the new school year. Hopefully once they are settled back, I might get time to play lol.

I am still around.  I had the power supplier to the desktop computer fail a couple of weeks ago.  Then I found out it had fried the mother board, video card etc.  The only thing untouched were the files.  It cost nearly $300 to repair it.  I know a new computer costs about the same, only this computer was built to my specifications, lots of memory, very fast, etc.  I got it home yesterday, plugged it in and it caught on fire.  Smoke sparks, the whole bit.  The computer man said it is totally covered, and he is going to come here today to see what causes the problem.  In the mean time, I pulled out my old laptop, which is operating with 1/2 a motherboard.  It is cheaper to replace, than to repair it. 

Until I get the big computer back I am limited as to what I can do.
