well after being on the phone with tech support forever..now out Roadrunner email accounts are reactivated and passwords reset..my main acct. is gmail, but Jeff only used rr mail..apparently when the other cable modem crapped out our accts all went inactive..so now that is all fixed...the first time I called I was on the phone with national help desk, from guess where, the Phillipines, I didn't the Phillipines are in the US,lol..the gal was really sweet and helpful and had no accent, so I'm think her hubby was probably staioned there or something, then she put me on hold and when she came back on and said hello, I lost here after 45 minutes..NOOOO.. so I called back and got another one with a thick accent but just as helpful when I could understand her, and got it all fixed..I sent Jeff out to get me some zertec-D..I'm out and all plugged up..and some crickets for the kritters..he didn't really want to, and I reminded him, I just spent forever on the phone fixing your email,and if I hadn't taken the box back and got that all fixed, finally, you wouldn't even have email..so he said okay..lol..besides how could he say no, he's hauling a bunch of band kids up to the playoff game tonight which is 80 miles away..ttyl, Peggers |

Good Morning Girls! We had a nice Thanksgiving and the turkey was yummy. I got the outside decorated yesterday and we bought a new tree - 9 foot tree. Its supposed to rain tomorrow so I'll finish decorating the house then. Dont know what we are doing today - maybe a little shopping or a drive to the beach. Love ya all! Big Hugs, Cari |

Hi ...
I hope everyone celebrating had a great Thanksgiving Day and enjoyed theirselves.
It's snowing here :) beautiful weather to decorate garden and house. My eyes are fine and I enjoy the new sight each day a bit more ... now walking outside in the snow without needing the glasses which would be either wet or damped.
No more antibiotics and cortison needed now ... only natural tears for still some weeks. All 3 tests brought a result of 100 pct vision so I'm very satisfied.
Tomorrow I'll leave for my Mom's hometown to care for her pets once again ... she'll be going to the hospital on Monday. Keeping my fingers crossed all will work out well and I'll be away for 1 week only. Bye bye till then

Yay thats great Iris! Bad youll be away, but good timing that you wont be on the pc for the week, really helpful for your eyes at this time. Look forward to having you back, and hope all goes great for your mum. And hope the dogs ok for you too. We had freezing fog last night and its been dark all day and the fog was coming down again when we were driving home from shopping, temp dropped to 0. |

Wow, Iris I am so happy for you... That's awesome!!!!! Cari beach ride would be nice...... just to smell it would be nice.. Janz, burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr is right. Peggers, glad you got everything done & up & running..... I felt pretty good this morning, now my head is busting & I am sick to my stomack.... so wondering if I have the flu. I put some water on to boil, & see if that helps my head. My belly nothing I can do for it but wait till it passes..... We are having some snow flurries here, & it is cold. Let me tell you... burrrrrrrrr... Hope it's not foing to be a lot of snow & ice this winter. But I bet it is..... Power outs & all that crap. Anyway I am gonna lay down & see if I can feel better, I have a turkey I have to cook later. It's a small one.............. thank goodness......plus dressing & a few things, not the whole sperad....... Have a great day!!!! |

Oh Peggers....I hear ya on understanding on the phone. My son had to phone Dell with pc probs, and I think theyre in India. 40 mins on the phone of struggling with the guys phrasing....  On the other side I worked in a call centre and had some probs with very thick regional accents, especially those that spoke fast, I used to keep saying 'pardon' and get all hot and bothered lol. |

Hey All! Just trying to get Christmas decorating done around the house. No one wants to help me but they like to look at it - We're about 45 minutes from the beach (car ride). They dont seem to have any direct access to beach areas so we really have to drive out of our way - LOL! We drove over to Vero Beach yesterday (east coast) and also went to an outlet mall. Jerry and Emily got something but I always come home empty handed. Glad your eyesight is so good Iris! Shiela - hope youre feeling better. Did you get the flu shot this year? Janz - I would be freezing my butt off - LOL! Peggers - glad you finally got everything settled. We have BrightHouse also. Though Ive never had to speak to anyone in India. The local tech guys have usually been able to fix my problems. Gotta get back to decorating. I still have some PTA stuff to finish also. Hugs, Cari |

I am still not well. I am going to get my challenges done, take a hot bath & go to bed. It's just not a good day for me. Cari yes I did get my flu shot.  I hate being sick!!!!!! |

I have been sick yesterday and today myself..whew..hope to feel good enough to post my challanges..I got a flu shot this year too..but that only helps for the viruses in the flu shot.. the tech's I talked to this time were in the Phillipines. but I have talked to ones in India too..and Canada.. anyhoo, the local guy was great..but they were closed friday..anyway..I gotta go lay down for a while..be back later..Peggers |
