Today we picked up my Mom and brought her back home. I'm so glad for her as well as for us ... each day a 2 hour drive to the hospital and 2 hours back ... fortunately hubby still was at home. The left hand and forearm still is plastered and will stay so for 2 weeks ... followed by a plastic bar. She isn't allowed to move the fingers at all so the household and even simple things like getting dressed are difficult now. The docs said skin heals first, followed by bones but chords and nerves take the longest time. Hubby looks good with his new haircut ... due to some scorched hair of the firework he had to let it cut very short but we like it and perhaps he'll stay with it. The bruises at the hands already look good ... this man heals quickly :) Now I just have to find some Mojo back for PSP ... all those rl issues took my mind over. Started with cyt today but produced only crap for the bin.
