He sighed as he picked up a vile of heroin and a needle, looking at them. He twiddled them in his fingers for a moment. "But we got past that, I just didn't understand like she did." He filled the syringe and looked at it. Last time he had done this to himself alone, he had attempted suicide.
"Why do you lie to yourself. What could she have hidden it for? Besides, she never loved you. She only stayed with you cause she felt sorry for you. You tried to fight me and she pitied it. And then you had to go and get her pregnant, making it worse. She wanted to be free and you had to hold onto her. "
Deron closed his eyes as he wrapped the rubber band around his arm. "I didn't think she felt that way..." "She did." He opened his eyes and extended his arm out, sticking the tip of the needle against his skin. Did he want to push it in? "Do it. They all want you gone. Everybody hates who you are and you were. Why not give them what they want? Let them go. Hell- let everybody go so they don't have to think about you anymore. "
He sighed and pushed the needle into his skin, forcing the cold, hard liquid into his veins. He clenched his jaw and let it take over him. "You're right... I tried so hard to lie to myself and think that I'm ok and that things were normal... I have never been ok outside of being Shadow. It's all I l know. All I have ever known..." "And you locked Shadow up for too long. He needs to be let out. He needs to make others feel how you did. Make them suffer like you did. You started to before you met Nyx, but she stopped you. She took a blowtorch to your heart and melted the ice so she could have you exposed and vulnerable. She broke it and now we have turned it into stone so that it can never feel anything again. Be who you are, they only sidelined you, but you can get bac into the game... Let your instincts rage like a river. Take what you want, give nothing back. These people deserve it for what they did to you."
He simmered in thought, feeling his rage and frustration boil over. He hated everybody for everything and wanted to hurt them. He wanted them to scream out in pain while he watched their blood spill.
