Having gotten back from their flight around midnight levi and janice are in the car driving home. They're just talking and laughing about their vacation, and wedding when levi see's someone and swerves. He looses control of the vette, running into a pole , and janice hits her head on the dash and luckily levi's not hurt.The guy runs over knowing the car, and levis out of the car as they both go to janices side.she manages to get out and puts her hand to her head feeling the gash "shit.."she mumbles to herself. Janice sighed still barely standing but standing between them"dont pull out the knife.he's leaving..now..get in the car levi" "no..im going to show this fucker" "no..your not..if you do im not going home with you..i refuse to put up with this shit from either of you so just get in the fucking car levi" |

"What shit you talkin' bout? I'm trying to avoid your stupid asses like the plague and ya'll are followin' me. Threatenin' to kick my ass, talkin shit like I'm pissed you married. Get your fuckin' facts straight, turn my ass in. I don't give a shit. You aint worth my time so quit actin' like I owe it to ya." Shadow spat.
Levi felt his blood boil and he stepped past Janice and grabbed Shadow, slamming his head as hard as he could against the building. "Play big boy now." He snarled, repeating his attack. He let Shadow fall to the ground and looked at him as he knew he scrambled his brains. He drove his foot into Shadow's stomach as hard as he could, rather liking seeing Shadow in pain. He grinned darkly as he watched him fall over, unable to breathe from the hard kicks to his stomach. He grabbed a fistful of his hair, bringing him to his knees. "You don't seem to like being on the receiving end of this little boy." He snarled as he connected his foot with Shadow's chest. "Levi, knock it off!" he heard Janice scream vaguely. But he ignored her as he looked down at the man in front of him. He was holding his midsection and gasping for air as Levi bent down to pick him up. "Wrong move lover boy." Shadow snarled as he ripped his knife out from his pocket, jamming it into Levi's stomach. He towered over in pain and Shadow forced himself to his feet, kicking him down. "Told you not to fuck with me." |

"Stop it!!" janice screamed at them finally managing to get between them tears streaming down her face "please just stop..."she begged sobbing at levi's side as deron laughed and walked off janice pulled her cell out calling for an ambulance"oh god..levi....oh god.."was all she could say as she tried to keep him with her"stay awake..you're gonna be okay..." |

| Levi held his stomach as the blood pored over his fingers. He never saw that attack coming and he looked up at Janice, his breathing short and quick. He clutched her hand tightly through the searing pain. "Babe..." he managed to say, forcing himself to stay awake beside her. "Please don't cry. I'm ok..." |

Janice tried to stop crying but couldnt seeing the blood"baby ive gotta put pressure on it..move your hand.."she told him and using her entire body weight put pressure on it and it still was bleeding profusely as the emt's pulled up both of them covered in blood by now |

| He held tightly to her hand as they loaded him on a stretcher. "It's ok baby. I'm ok." He tried to reassure her, though he didn't feel that way. How deep had Shadow cut him? "Please don't cry..." He breathed before everything faded to black and he fell unconscious. |

"LEVI!!!" Janice screamed as he fell asleep and one of the cops who showed up grabbed her as she couldnt stop sobbing and freaking out.She followed him to the hospital and was waiting when the dr came out "Mrs.Van Halen.." janice jumped up walking over to him"how is he.." |

| "Levi will be just fine. He lost a substantial amount of blood and he required a good 30 stitches. But he'll just need to take it easy for a few days. You can go see him if you want." The doctor said, stepping aside to let her by. |

Janice found the room walking in and saw him sleeping walking over taking his hand laying her head by his side still crying |

| Some hours later Levi forced his eyes open wearily and looked over as he felt a hand around his. Janice had her head rested in her arms, one hand holding his. With all his strength he lifted her hand and kissed it tenderly. "Wake up babe." He said. |

Janice sat up wiping her eyes"I'm not asleep babe.."she said softly "i was just scared I'd lost you.." |

| "Ah, takes more than an attack from a twig to take me down." He chuckled softly, though it hurt to do so. He raised an arm in a muscle pose and smiled at her. "I'd never leave you like that." He looked up at her a little worried. "That bastard didn't hurt you did he?" |

| He rolled his eyes and looked at her. "Why in God's name are you so adamant about protecting that idiot?" He pushed himself up a little and looked at her. "And if you're thinking he'll kill me or his little buddies will I wont accept that answer. What's really going on?" |
