As you prepare for Second Degree you will find many areas you learned about this year will be in review .  You will be deepening your path as you teach others and delve into the inner workings of coven work .  You will be holding the title that very few reach successfully and with that title of "PRIESTESS" comes a much deeper responsibility than you imagine...just as you thought there could be no more you could learn when you started your entrance into First Degree..you NOW will be representing the Goddess in ALL you do as a Priestess in Second Degree training.

 

You have come a long way in this past year.  Do you feel more confident in your Path?

 

I am sure, as you look back, you can see so many things that you do naturally now, that was not even a thought of possibility only one year ago.  You have applied yourself and become what the Goddess led you to.  Even you did not know it was possible to fit a 24 hour path of enlightenment into your busy life.

 

Look back for a moment...as you took the L&S oath of dedication...did you realize the words were going to change your life?...When you made your Book of Shadows...did you think you would expand it as you have?

 

You discovered deities of all pantheons, made possible and now understand what Sacred Space is.and why it is necessary.  Did you have it back before you came into training?

 

You obtained a working knowledge of your Magickal Tools and learned what it is to consecrate as well as know WHAT consecration is and why it is important.

 

You delved into the beginnings of meditation to find how important it was to focus...and how it pertained to magick and a successful ritual.

 

Did you figure you would ever do a ritual on your own and WRITE one?...How about Sellweaving, Candle Magick, Wortcunning and creating a Witch's Closet...

 

Familiars now have a different feel when you interact with them, Spirit Guides now are more in tune with your understanding. When you see animals and omens, you now seem to read more into the meanings of those encounters than you once did.

 

You have learned Ethics of our Path of the Wise and how to LIVE YOUR STATION.  You touched the world of the Fae.  and know what it means to progress into Enlightened Living.  Yes.....you have come a LONG way in one year.

 

Words mean much different things than they did as you passed over them in books.  Now you live them.
