Note # 4 - To Crystal Village

Onward you go as you know the spell also asks for a gem...the finest Crystals and stones are at the Crystal Village so you hurry across the terrain to the Village . There are things along the way that you notice as you cross the meadows. Many of the magickal herbs are withered and you wonder if this mysterious wounded creature you are trying to help may have a key as to why.

Hurrying along a little faster, fighting fear, you reach the Indigo River and know that you must cross the bridge to access the Crystal Village...the river is unusually high and you hope the rickety bridge is still in tact.

You reach the bridge and only one tattered side remains as you look at the torrent of water rushing past to the delta. You wiggle it...and decide that it is sturdy enough to hold you. You start across and with every step you feel the bridge moan and heave with your weight. A crack and jolt makes you go faster and as you take the last step from the rope and wood, the tether gives way..but you have made it. The bridge clanks and a roar of water whisks it away as if it were never there.

You take a deep breath and wonder how you will get back....but for now, you will look for the Green Stone that you need for your spell.
