I have a large soup pot it serves 5+.
You can add as much vege's as you want for this recipe.
Also any variety of vegetables.

4 Celery Sticks
4 potatoes(large)
2 Onions  (medium)
Quarter of a Pumpkin
4 Carrots (large)
1-2 pkts Kings Soup Mix(or any soup mix,has lentils, chickpeas etc)
Enough soup bones(beef) for family etc(optional)
Salt to preferred taste

Wash and peel all vegetables and cut to preferred size.
Add cold water to pot of choice and add soup mix.
Simmer for an hour with lid on.
Then add all vegetables and soup bones, add salt but taste and add more as cooking.
Skim off the top of soup before serving(can be greasy sometimes)
Simmer with lid off for another hour and a half.
Serve with toast or fresh rolls.

As soup gets reduced  add extra vegetables, bones and soup mix will be good for 3 days, discard whats left after 3 days.
Enjoy everyone,my family loves this soup.
Also good to freeze and reheat either on stove or microwave.
(Take out bones first)

Can be a snack or main meal, this is my own recipe and also you can use a whole chicken instead of beef, you can leave whole or cut into pieces.
The bones and chicken liver and neck gives it the flavour, instead of using shop bought stock.
So enjoy.
