Hi Ladies'
Goodness, it won't be long till xmas if tomorrows date is anything to go by. Sorry about that. I've just seen Dane off with some choc chip square & choc chip muffins. Happy birthday to Bill tomorrow, well I AM impressed with his little comeback. And poor you Ann, with those sore knees too. I've heard of Ruth Preddy but I don't know where. Also whoop's that was a body kit for Danes car.

Morning LadiesWell it's evening here, and what a lovely evening it is too.  It is nearly half past seven and there isn't a cloud in the sky and there is going to be one beautiful sunset soon.

We went out with Simon at lunch time and bought Bill a lap top for his Birthday tomorrow.  The men were very busy choosing the "right" one, then Bill would ask me what I thought (now that's real blind faith in my abilities) I do have a few talents but, as you ladies know, computers are way down the list of those   Anyway Bill came away very happy with his purchase.  Now the old one has to be loaded onto the new one so Simon still has a job to do.  I have said I need just a couple of things of mine to be loaded onto it.  Just my "ladies take a break" and my "hot mail" so I can use it when we go away on holidays.

We have been talking to Lucy's breeder, Lucy's fur is not white or champagne on the body.  She is supposed to have grey points and white fur.  WELL, Lucy has dark patches all over her, not a good look for a Birman.  Still, could not get a nicer nature or one that gets on so well with the other two "coffe and Cream" Birmans.  Still, she may be just an ugly duckling that will turn into a Birman swan.  Not that it really matters, after all we never show our cats. Bill is up in Auckland, so an early morning wakeup call  but coming back in the evening, I was going to get him a special Birthday cake but he has asked for a Pavlova, with lots of cream.  He even eats it for  breakfast if there is any left, not that there is much hope of that (better get whisking the egg whites)

I won $33 on the lotto this week.  Well, I know it's not much considering the three hundred million was up for grabs, but as I don't usually win anything, at least I doubled my money!
I don't often by a lotto, but had to be in with a chance didn't I?

Well think I will go make some hot chocolate, Jasmine has just said "some for me too"

Enjoy your day ladies

Evening ladies...
Sorry didn't make it yesterday...far too tired as I am again this evening but thought I'd make the effort for a 'quick one'.

The cook school sounded great, how lovely to have a man as interested in cooking as you are Ann or is it just the meal at the end of it that Bill wanted. That was a nice surprise them singing Happy Birthday to Bill and sending him home with a cake. Happy Birthday to Bill.

What kind of car has your son got Sharyn (hope I spelt it right)
My son who has had his car for a few years now doesn't like adding external bits to his cars. Which is probably just as well cos over here any modifications are likely to send the insurance costs even higher for a young lad as it is interpretated as making the car more susceptible to theft or speeding.
Congrats on the new arrival in your family.
Thanks for the info about how far places are and how best it is for you to get there.

Red hope your dinner party went well and you didn't have to cook the meal yourself.
That young man is lucky to be getting discharged from hospital so quickly, I wish him all the best for a speedy recovery.

Wac and I took my parents to Tatton Park today to a christmas crafts exhibition which was quite good. I didn't buy anything cos the things I saw and would have liked to buy I already have items that work perfectly well and I would have been buying for buying's sake. Ok ladies pick yourself up from the floor, I know you thought you'd never hear me say that, but since redoing the bedroom I am being very good about what I buy to wear as I have so much stuff already and until it goes out of fashion or wears out then I shall stick with what I have got. Well I managed to play it like that today but who knows next time......
My Mum and Dad enjoyed themselves as they probably wouldn't venture so far driving on their own nowadays.

Tonight is shower and bath night for Robert as I won't have time before work tomorrow as I have to take my Mum and Dad to Rochdale to catch the coach to go to Llandudno for a five day trip. They only arrived back from a 5 day break at Blackpool Pontin's on Friday!

Off to check the washer and dryers now and iron my few bits n bobs I need for next week. The rest can wait till another day.

Julie hope things are good with you and also Yvette if you have time please pop in and say Hi.
As for Sweet...well she has been missing so long I am thinking of checking out the membership list to see if she is still on board.
I hope you are Sweet.
