Hi Ladies' Guess what Ann, yesterday I realised that your Aunty Molly has come back as my grand niece, I suppose I should call her. Hayden didn't end up calling her Caris Brook, he changed it at the last minute to Molly Jane. Dane's car is a silver mitsubitshi FTO, I have a good picture of it on my phone that I intend to send to my computer one day soon. His insurance comes up in February and he'll be ready to start paying it then and we'll just keep the amount it's insured for the same instead of dropping it like I think we did last year. It's about time he got something from us instead of Madam, he deserves it. I've just started organising our yearly district BBQ which normally happens at Guy Fawkes weekend, but we're having it a week later now that the elections are on that weekend. I hope we get a change of government this year, but don't expect it to be any better if it does. |

Morning LadiesYes faremeress I hope we get a change in government too. My Auntie Mollie was Mollie Francis, so nearly the same as your grand niece. My Auntie Mollie was a wonderful woman so she would be a great role model. We are now waiting for Bill to come home from Auckland. He is working up there for a couple of days, but wanted to come home for his Birthday. I have made the pavlova, (it sort of collapsed at one end but its got extra cream there to disguise that fact) and his favorite Christmas mince pies-Oh the brownie points I've now got Oh Tigs you are so right. There were about thirty five people at Ruth Pretty's cooking day, only three were men. We have been twice before, the first time to a barbeque cooking demonstration, lots of wine and lots of fun. SO, now Bill likes to come to. Not much cooking, but lots of lovely food and wine and cheese, however I can truthfully say he has never looked at any of the recipe's we brought home, let alone tried to make them them Nearly twenty years ago now he did buy a pudding basin, he was going to make a spotted dick just like his mother's. WELL I found the pudding basin a short time ago, still in it's wrapper (Oh just thought, could that have been a hint to me to make one I wonder) Red hope you enjoyed your time with Patty Oh Tigs you were SO good, you need to reward yourself, next time you go shopping you will have to buy to pairs of something to make up for all that restraint Oh Rochdale, that's where Uncle Fred came frome, Auntie Mollies husband-your parents will love Llandundo, it's good to hear they are enjoying themselves. It's a good sign too that your Dad's knee is doing well. Happy shower and bath Robert, Hope all is progressing well with him. Six months of being unable to get out and off like most young lads. Still, so long as he is on the mend. Will keep those prayers up. Hi Julie, hope you are all settled into your new home, and, have not overdone it. Take care of yourself. Hi Yvette, hope all is well with you too I think thats the garage door, so better go down an welcome the birthday boy . Enjoy your day everyone |

Thank you for the Birthday wishes for Bill Yvette. Oh dear I do so hope that David's "man" flu gets better soon and what a worry for him over his job. I do hope it all gets sorted out for him soon, and should he be made redundant then I hope he has a good golden handshake. Twenty years is a long time to work for the same firm. What color paint are you buying for the Kitchen door and windowsills? It will be nice to have a "new look" kitchen. Sorry the man did not come as promised, however your new siler coloured hotpoint sounds good. The first "little" fridge I ever had was a hotpoint. Enjoy your day, and it will be nice to see a picture of your new kitchen |

Morning ladies Isn't it funny Farmeress how one of our children always seem to get more than another, it happens like that here in different ways. One boy gets cos he craftily demands and the other because he is such a love he deserves everything I can afford, well that's what the other two say! As for the third well usually he doesn;t expect or get half as much as his brothers but when he feels he should have or is entitled to he certainly lets us know!! lol Pests that they are. I am currently paying the £10 a week it is costing to insure Mark's car so I am allowing James the same off his board money. If I reduce it anymore he won't be payng anything just like Robert! Still there is time enough for when they will be bogged down with all the expenses of everyday living once they leave home and get their own permanent places. Oh Ann.....pavlova!! I could quite easily share that with Bill as I love the stuff. I could also eat left overs for breakfast as well that's if it lasted overnight. How annoying about the fridge after all that time Yvette. If the 'small' one is big enough for you to use permanently and you bought that from Comet, could you not go and sort another appliance out for the same money explaining that you have already bought one, so you get something you need or even be given gift vouchers you could use at a later date? So sorry to hear about David's job. I really do hope that he isn't made redundant on Wednesday, but if he is, that he gets enough money to 'tide you over' till he finds another job. It is so difficult everywhere right now with companies struggling to make a do and also for the employed to be worrying about the incertainty of being made unemployed. Good luck to you both. I started this message almost two hours ago but since then have had the wound care nurse call and my sister and nephew so now no time left to add anything else as I have to have lunch and get to work. I'll probably see you ladies tomorrow now. |
