Hi Ladies,

I’ve just had a day shopping & spending time with mother.

I bought some Kahlua to make truffles for Xmas and proceeded to pick up the smallest bottle then middle sized bottle, Oh why not, and bought the largest bottle. The Hoi sin sauce which has come up more than once intrigued me and you were there to help me find it because it just popped easily. I picked up Tiffanys DVD of her photos and Mum and I went to her house to watch it. I’m not the soppy type but the tears were flowing from me. The song goes. Looking back on when we first met, baby your the one you can make me whole again. I can't think who sings it yet but know it.

I could fill a book about my mother and know where you are with that one Tigger. I do my best to look after her but I'm convinced she has the whole town thinking we do nothing for her. God knows what sort of tale she spins to get their attention. and the poor me tales.

I did find the tax system in america quite shocking. No wonder you have the pay to go to hospital. The minimum tax rate here is 22.1 per cent. Obviously everyone over there will keep there own tax rate quiet from everyone else I would think if there is that much variation. I'm correct in saying 2%-80% am I?

Oooh Saki, not on my list of things to do before I die. Happy Birthday to Tim.

Our neighbour Tim, who is managing the Calder farm has been caught drunk driving. It took me an hour to realise he's going to lose his license too I suppose. Oh dear.

Good afternoon,

Tigs, you must be overwhelmed with work, come have a sit and tell us about it all, lol. Surely your needing a break.

Ohh Farmereess, taxes...grrr. First off we pay 20% income tax off the top of our pay. Then there is a 3% social security tax, and a 7% state tax. Then we have tax on gas, tax on groceries, tax on clothing, they even tax our utility bills etccc... In montana there was NO sales taxes, I was impressed. Felt like I had hit a gold mine.

Kahula truffles, sound wonderful, could you post a recipe. I love kahula, and I add it to my french toast mix when I have it, rather then vanilla.

Shame about your neighbor driving drunk, but at least there were no injuries or fatalities to report. Personally I have no pity for one loosing his/her liscense for such a thing. WE have a taxi company here that offers free rides home from the bars, which I think is a grand idea. They will even pick you up in the morning to take you back to you car. KUDOS to them indeed.

I slept rather well last night, and late I might add. Only got up about an hour ago. I should feel better refreshed then I do

TIme I get around to some brunch as Yoshi tells me it is time for our oatmeal. Have a nice day all...

Have a wonderful and safe trip Tigs. Will miss you, hope you can get on while away.

We are off to work as soon as TIm finishes eating. Its hard for him to eat for a while after he gets up and we try to get him up by 5 so he will eat by 6. Four centers tonight , but with the 3 of us they go quickly.

Joe will be handing out the candies tonight to the little trick or treaters. I have no idea how many will be around, as we haven't had any for the entire time we lived at the farm house.

Later and g'night . Safe travels Tigs
