Hi All'
Oh lucky Tigger, Malta did look so good on Cornation street.
I see about your taxes Red. They manage to get it out of us in a variety of ways similar to yours. Although we hav'nt been paying tax for a few years with not making enough, and now kids all left home no money this year for working for families.
God if my bossy boots sister'n law only knew how little we get combined, compared to her teaching job alone.
I was pleased to read an article that Ken pointed out to me this week of a farmer who had $200,000 overdraft, and just visited the bank manager, the wallet was cleaned by the wife, and managed to go to the local show by finding a $12 in coins his truck, then eating of freebees of toothpicks for the day and got home with 30 cents still in his pocket.
I'm just going to make Rum truffles with 1 tbsp Kahlua instead of rum. But will  put it in recipes. Your pumpkin cookies are printed off and still stuck to the fridge. I was intriqued by the pumpkin in a tin & the pumpkin pie mix in a tin as well I think. Quite american. Today I made a fudge cake that has 1 pkt crushed malt biscuits & 1 pkt plain biscuits normally it has condensed milk as well but I found a cheaper version. Then I made Dane two apricot tarts which I froze then cut into servings and wrapped individually.
This week we'll be starting to shear about 300 older mothers by ourselves, so that they're ready to sell as soon as we wean. Ken's been out doing tractor work and spraying gorse & thistles.
As for the drunk driving, that's the trouble with living out here. There are no taxi's. We didn't hesitate to get one in Christchurch last week. It doesn't come naturally to us, and is only the second time Tiffany has drunk with us. Dane still has not touched a drop.
When I started work really early I just ate after an hour or two of work.
I hope all is well with Jasmine, Ann and your trip to The Phantom. I can't see me getting Ken there.
