Morning LadiesSorry to have missed Tigs, hope you are having a fantastic time in Malta and the sun is shining for you every day  Bill took his old lap top away with us, but it just would not play ball with me and I could not get onto MSN so was quite fraustrated but had to give up trying in the end

Well I over spent as usual as I wandered round all the lovely shops up in Auckland (that's a laugh I limped most of the time) but it was going to take more than a bad knee to stop my Visa shopping  I actually bought two pairs of shoes-both pair flat as in flat flat, but exactly what I now have to wearI have a cupboard full of ridiculous high heels, and except for the pair that Kitten chewed they look really feminine and I despair of ever wearing them again

On Friday evening Bill and I found a lovely little "french" Bistro where we both had French Onion Soup, then I had Croc Maseur (don't think thats how you spell it, but its's a fancy cheese on toast with ham) and Bill had Lamb Shanks and we both shared Crepe Suzette that was set alight at the table.

Then we went to the theatre to see "The Phantom of the Opera" it was magnificant.  We had seen it done in Sydney but this one was like a West End production.

Not so good was that a friend of mine's 27 year old son was rushed to hospital with something like menengitis.  He is haveing a machine breath for him and has had a shunt put into his head to alievate the pressure on the brain.  He has been like this for three days now and it is very serious.  He is in I.C.U. and we are all saying our prayers that he will overcome this Terrible virus and get better.  He was a very healthy boy and did all the right things.  It was all so sudden.

The cats were all thrilled to see us back, and slept on the bed last night so we were a little crowded out.  In the end I had to really push to get my feet down to the bottom of the bed but that did not seem to deter them from staying close We have just been over to Simons with his Birthday present, a really nice shirt and tie I bought in Auckland for him they are both Italian made and will go really well with his new suit.
Hello to Everyone, I am now off to my bed Enjoy your dayIt looks like the computer is stopping my typing anyway
