Hi Ladies'
Yes I'm quite pleased also to see Obama get in and Ken was watching it all afternoon yesterday. I just hope it all goes well.
We had snow on the ground yesterday morning and again this morning. With some schools closed further south. I've never seen so much at this time of the year.
I also thought Yvettte's grandchild is a boy. Dane had elbows or knees poking me out of me too.
The five photo's Ann are my before weight loss shots. And each photo I see after amazes me every time. I was hoping to get a professional shot taken of the family at neices wedding but my kids haven't been asked. So I must get some done in Dunedin when Dane graduates.
I had no trouble cleaning out old clothes after losing weight because I wore them around here till they wore out. And the few good clothes a take to Red Cross they have bins all over the place. I also gave a lot of clildrens clothes and toys. It was easier to do because we were renovating the house twice. And we hope to get the passage & Tiffany's room redone and insulated next year.
I had to go to get my mother yesterday and bring her here for a few days. She has twisted her knee for about the sixth time and it gets extremely inflamed. She is very large and her legs are like pins. She has no muscle strength becuase she spends all her time in bed. She is normally only up an hour or two in the morning and a few hours at night. She visits the doctor frequently and has almost brought the whole chemist shop with her. I'm going to try and count them all up.

Morning LadiesThought I would hand write the post to-day, thought a change is as good as a rest, so they say (whoever they are)!!!
Thank you Yvette for your good wishes for next Wedensday, to-morrow I go for my post op: where they test I am O.K. to have the operation, I have had the blood test allready.

Does Rachael know yet what her new baby is going to be Yvette, or is she keeping it a secret and waiting until it's born?  Oh well just have to knitt blue and pink booties

Hope you had a great time on Fireworks night Yvette.  Not the same here.  Over in England it gets dark quite early and they have big bonfires. There was a big firework display in Wellington but we did not go,  but the sky was lit up with quite a few backgarden fireworks.

Thank you Red for your support over the clothes, now I know I am not alone I will wait a while yet before going through my clothes, I will call myself thrifty- sounds good doesn't it

Thats nice for your mother farmeress to have a few days holiday with you.  Sorry about her knee, it must be very painful for her.  How old is she, that she has to spend so much time in bed, is she not well?  Just watching Cloris Leichman on The View, she was in Dancing with the Stars over in America, she is 82, so hope for us all yet

Hope you get your vacation soon Red, good for Mike to take over and give you a well deserved rest.

Julie if you pop in Hello, and how is Daisy and the family

Tigs hope you are enjoying your holiday, we miss you
I will sign off now, had a nice lunch with Simon, out the window went my diet, but as it's been going out the window every day nothing new there then

Enjoy your day ladies

I have just had some very bad news.  The young 27 year old very healthy young man untill suddenly last wednesday, his mother has just had to turn off his ventilator.

The hospital did their best, they still do not know what caused it, they are saying a virus in the brain.

No words can tell her how sad I feel for her.  She has two other sons, I feel so helpless.

Hello ladies,

Oh Ann that is terrible news. I know the pain of loosing a loved on far before his time, my heart certainly goes out to the mother of that young man. So sad, why is there never anything you can do

On a lighter note, I hope you have a nice luncheon with your SImon.

I feel for you Farmeress, as Kens Mom decided in her 50's that she had enough pain and sentenced herself to a lifetime in wheelchairs and bed. Of course she did have arthritus in her knees and hips, bu rather then try to (doctor) her symptoms, she choose to opt out, and the family had to service her from then on.  IT was a hardship at times,  but noone could fathom the idea of putting her in a nursing home. She was a cronic complainer and no matter what we would do for her, she wanted more, or something else.  Very difficult to say the least, God rest her soul and I pray she is pain free.

I believe Yvette had said the new baby was going to be a girl.  She will have to confirm that for me, but seems I remember her saying that.
I also loved watching Cloris Leachman on Dancing with the Stars , I am suprised she held out so long against all those younger dancers. Kudos to her for being in such good shape!  Loved her on Rhoda those many years ago.  LOL @ Lars!

I am also praying for your surgery to go without complicatations and a quick heal time. If I know you like I think I do, you will not be down for long!

Tigs I hope your having a good time, and we sure do miss you.

I hope your doing well Julie and the family is doing well!
Come tell us about little Daisy, her personality must be shining through.

WE will start training Mike tonight. Not on a 4 night center as that would take too long, and as it is we are out until 3-4 a.m.  most mornings now.  I took them exploring a bit yesterday and we shopped.  I am about shopped out (who said that)  lol  I know I am ready for a whole day at home!!

THink I am going to make some pumpkin muffins and take some to Shirley and her Mom.  I haven't seen her for nearly 2 months,  that is just too long when we live less then 20 minutes apart!

Have a nice day ladies, my MSN seems to be working well this morning , but I do not trust it so copy I shall!
