Good evening team from Bill to let you know how Ann has got on today.

Much better all round, which is good. She has been able to get out of bed for a short time, with help from the nurse and a frame. Also was able to have a shower which helped her feel a bit better. Two lots of physiotherapy, very sore but essential. Surgeon saw her twice again today and says the exercise is very important.

He seems very porofessional and knows what he is doing. He is in no hurray for her to go home as he wants to watch her progress. We thought Monday but it may now be Tuesday.

More flowers arrived today so her room looks very nice. Called in at lunch time today and then back until 9.00 this evening as I think someone there keeps her spirits brighter. Again more worried about what I have had to eat and driving home safely than how she is feeling!

We have the weekend coming up, so I hope tomorrow is a better day for her as today was. She sneds her regards and thanks you agin for your kind thoughts.

I better put in a few of those face things      That is the best I can do.

Thanks again,

Bill

Lol Bill you and I have just passed messages and we now have two Friday's lol.
Yvette may be along to add mine to yours as you beat me to posting by a minute, so your list has priority.

Thanks for the update and I can tell from your relaxed message how much easier/positive you feel about Ann today and of course the information about the improvements support this.

Ann is a typical woman where she is worrying about hubby and family when she herself is the one who needs the concern. I'll never forget when I was two days post op this time last year, linked up to drains and so painful to move that it was a major feat to get out of bed and go to the toilet, when my family arrived and the youngest who was 18 at the time had just had his haircut and the hairdresser had nicked the top of his ear with the scissors. Of course hubby had brought him straight onto the ward to see me and had done nothing about the ear as they would have missed visiting time he said! The poor lad was a bit shocked at what had happened and had a half inch slit in the top of his ear and I was worried about infection and healing. I wanted to get out of bed and take him to the minor injuries unit in the hospital but of course was too unwell to do that. Wac couldn't be persuaded to take him either as he wanted to be with me, so the poor boy went off by himself.
Thankfully the unit wasn't very busy and they cleaned and dressed the wound and he was back within half an hour but even though James was so old and capable of looking after himself I felt I'd let him down by not being able to accompany him to get the care he needed. Still all was well but it's a terrible feeling being so physically unable to take charge of a situation and offer support.
Still that was then and now is now and before you know it Ann will also be back to full strength and pain free and able to be physically back to normal before her accident that caused all the problems.

Right I best be off... thanks again Bill.

Good morning,

Lovely to know Ann is improving and your here to keep us so informed Bill  Thank you, as you have been very attentive to our inquiring minds.  Bless her to be more worried about you and Jasmine as she sits in that hospital, but  it's like an illness we cannot cure, to be worried about others.

Tigs, I sometimes wonder if our boys know just how special they are that we would give our last breath for them, not to mention our last dollar, lol  I wonder if someone loves me that much, then I think of my Mother

Tomorrow I get to open my envelope, I actually have 4 to open, hopefully Ed McMan put the last publishers clearing house sweepstakes winner in one of them, lol  OH what a Happy Birthday that would be

Hard to believe your op was a year ago already Tigs, but with Robert being so injured it has passed quickly.

Patty's friend Lisa was supposed to have her gall bladder removed,  but now they telll her she doesn't?  What is up with that?

Looks like Tims friends will return late tonight.  Seems as though they never even went to visit her grandfather, (which confuses me) I thought that was the purpose of going back?  Mike said something about drama hitting the fan,  well when I hear drama,  my ears shut off, lol  Keep that away from me, as I have no room for it.  My niece Chrissy is drama queen, so I am sure i need to introduce Ericka to her, they can yuck it up all they want

I can't believe Thanksgiving is almost upon us. My Mom and brother were planning to come but since he had to take some time off work fro his shoulder a few months back, he cancelled it.  Joe is off work  , if I wasn't so strapped for room I wouild send him to pick up my Mom and bring her for a few days.  Ken's sister DeeDee from Florida is coming for a 3 day visit next Friday.  It's always a pleasure to visit with her. She's such a sweetheart.

Well time I get a moving along.  The weather is still very spring like, and I put my plants back out on the back patio.
Have a nice day,  and thanks again Bill
