Morning Ladies Don't know how long I will be able to sit here as it hasn't been too good of a day, still another one over, one more nearer to my knee healing properly Glad to hear your visit up here to Wellington, or rather over the hill to Martinborough was a happy one Farmeress. I think I have found the perfect job for you though, You could be the manager of the R.S.P.C.A. The only problem with that would be you would probably end up sleeping at work and working 24 hour shifts with your special charges and not wanting to go home. Then I would have Ken after me and boxing my ears for putting you in the way of constant temptation.  Bill is off to Singapore at five O'clock to-morrow morning, he is back on Wednesday. He signed a contract to work over there a few months back and now can't get out of it. He will fly out to-morrow, Sunday, then work Monday and Tuesday, then fly home late Tuesday night and get back here Wednesday evening. How awful your having back/leg pain Tigs, look after yourself do. You are certainly ahead of me with your Christmas gifts, I have hardly got any  and will have to sit up in bed soon and write my Christmas cards, especially those going oversea's. I like to choose my own, however I expect I will have to get Bill to get them in the end. Its just I like to have the person in mind when I buy them so they are specially chosen for that person So Glad Roberts operation went off well, that poor boy he has had to go through so much I do so hope he gets things back to normal soon. It has taken so long. Still, he can't have a better nurse than his mum (Sorry Tigs I know it doesn't do you justice, but she obviously is on the Ball like you) Hello Yvette, hope things are going well with you and the family. Hi ladies,
Just dropping in to say hope you all had a good day/nite and me back to work in the morning,we just decorated the garage for Christmas must say it looks good though.
Gosh its been hot at the moment it's pretty muggy whew lol.
OK got to go to bed its late.

Good evening ladies Another Saturday evening dawns and I have 4 hours of crafting time to look forward to if I can keep alert long enough. I have to though as I am way behind with my card making for crimbo. I did very little this morning and then been to the craft shop this arvo but I did go to Tesco on my way home. I can't believe I spent so much on so little. little = full large shopping trolley. Anyway's....talking of cards Ann, could you not order some via the internet? I know what you mean about choosing them with particular people in mind as I do exactly the same. You might think me awful for saying this but I hate receiving cards where the sender has only signed theirs and their families name and not mentioned the person they are sending to as they have obviously signed en mass and then addressed the cards at random. How unpersonalised is that!! I wish they hadn't bothered. Sorry to hear you've had a bad day with your knee but have a look at your meds and see if a temporary adjustment might help. Think my Dad had a couple of 'bad' days at around the same stage but then all of sudden he was on the up.  Aw what a shame Bill has to go away for a few days...who will cook and look after you Ann? How is it working out with the after school help for Jasmine? Hi Lilbabs.....I had a nice wintry christmas scene in mind when you mentioned your decos and then you said it was hot and muggy! That really confuses me. I wonder if you peeps across the world find it funny to imagine christmas as a cold time of year? Let me know cos I'd be interested to see it from your view point. I know what Ann is going to say....... lived in both places. So which is the norm for you Ann? Today here it has been +1.5c very cold. Brr! Had to turn the heating up a notch. Sweet where are you?? I keep watching your weather and see you have already had some snow. Off I go now...toodle loo. |

Hiya girls, I am very busy today and only took a break. Been up since 11 am but have been making pies and prepping he urkeys . I made breakfast for everyone, (but Mike) he choose cereal over hot eggs toast and sausages, his loss. I would never choose cold cereal over a nice prepared breakfast. We are headed to Pattys about 4 so I gott arun quickly. Time to get the oil heated to fry those birds. I injected one with a garlic butter and I injected the other with a cajun spice butter. MMM they will be so juicy. Have a nice day and I will return sooner or later, lol |
