Morning LadiesNice to see you in Yvette and glad to know you are having some thing done at your place that you have wanted for a long time, still, like Red I have to ask what  Artexed is?  Can't wait for you to post a picture of your new paintwork and artexed walls.

Your Birthday dinner sounds very nice too.  What did you have to eat? were you spoiled for choice?    With your  Anniversary and Birthday so close to-gether you had so much to celebrate, So glad you and David had a good time

Oh I feel so sorry for Chrissy Red it must be so hard to lose your brother.  When you lose one member of your family,  it affects the whole family.

Yes, I echo Red, Julie where are you? how is Daisy and the rest of the family?  I guess you are very busy at the moment, however we are all looking forward to hearing from you again soon.Oh yes, and some photos of your lovely little girl too

I hope Robert is feeling better to day Tigs after his physio and with what the lawyer had to say.  I just hope he gets all the compensation he deserves, your boy has suffered so much with his leg in that accident.

The little girl Kim, took Jasmine to the movies to-day, "High School Musical 3" lots of music and dancing in it, and as demanded by Jasmine a box of popcorn too!!

I went to Physio, well it did hurt, at one point I said to him, "I will just give you my rank and serial number" he thought that was funny!!!!  but I was being tortured!!!

I spoilt myself when I got home, I eat a great platefull of cherries from the supermarket, thought I needed a treat and they have just started to come into the shops. Well, with all this knee business I haven't grown any to-matoes this year, and I wanted to have another go at that, still all things being equal, will have to have a go next year now.  Anyway, don't think I am supposed to play with the dirt at the moment in case I get an infection in the knee wound.   Must say the Specialist has done a really good job with his stiching, you can hardly see it even this early on.  A couple of places still are healing up nicely, but he can sew better than me.  Not that that is saying much, I never could sew, allthough I did manage to do two cross stich pictures and have had them framed and put on the walls, but that was ages ago, and haven't done any more since then.  Tracy was having to learn it for school at the time so I did some with her.   Tigs  you must be very clever with the kneedle, I think it has to be a special gift if you can sew beautifully.

Enjoy your day ladies

Hi Ladies
Soooo sorry I wasn't in yesterday and today I am so strapped for time also. Thanks for all your news it was lovely to read it all.
Lots going on here, paperwork to prepare with lots of info for the lawyer as well as darned christmas cards to write and presents to wrap.
Got work this afternoon, very snowy here but some rain, so hopefully I'll be able to get the car out and not have to use the bus. I had to walk to the clinic I was at last night but it is only 10 mins away.
Anyway best go....hope to be in later.

Artex is a thin layer of plaster that has a pattern imprinted into it. The pattern could be stippled, swirled, half moon rippled or any combination of patterns. It's usually used on ceilings but can be put on walls where the plaster is 'a bit dodgy' or you just want a good patterned surface to paint on.

Hello girls,

Thanks for the info on the artex Tigs, , Sorry your so busy to sit for  spell but I totally understand.

Ann I would love to share those cherries with you. I haven't had a good one for a while now they are so expensive. I should really treat myself sometime.
Oh I bet Jasmine did enjoy High School Musical.  I have yt to even see the first although I hear theya re great.

Good your stitching is healing so well. Are you still taking lots of pain killers? Do you feel as though your knee will be good once it has healed?  I doubt really if you can tell by the way your feeling now,  but maybe you notice something better?

I have had a blow up here.  I got so mad yesterday I truly let out a few pieces of my mind, so if I sound scatter brained,  you know why I have told Mike that he needs to get off the sofa and put in applications and get bus passes to do so as we are not a taxi service.  Ericks expects to bre run to and from work withou contributing to the gas budget.  What set me off was themwalking in with take out for themselves.   Granted it wasn't because I was jealous of their burgers, but it was the fact that they make me feel like I am being used.  It's been over a onth and Mike has yet to put in one application.
Top it off with Bob quitting his job.  He did much of nothing for this job sut sit on the phone most of the day. Hardly ever had to leave the house to do that, yet it was too much for him. I think that was the final straw that broke me.  In turn he also lost the use of the company truck, and he will expect us to transport him where everhe wants ot go. No insurance of his own so he will NOT be using our vehicles.  GRRRRRR aI am so mad right now.  It takes a lot  of stress to get me to explode like I dide, and now I feel like a heel,  but dam it I am tired of feeling use as well. These people are not children.
Rant over, (I hope)   Now everyone is in their rooms sulking and unfortunaltely in the mess I upset Joe sowe will be going out in a bit after he showers to spend some time away. (probably shop)  very therapeutic, right ?  lol  I hate upsetting my Joe like this, and it was unavoidable as I could not stop. He knows I am not mad at him. He's so sensitive, I think he feels like he needs to worry about me. How can I help him get over that?

I hear the doo, so I guess he is about ready...
talk to you all later, I need a hug please...

Aw (((((Red)))))
I hope quality time with your son builds some bridges between you both, and gives you a positive glow after all the negativety that has been building for ages now.
Please refresh me as to why you have all those people staying at your place?
You work so hard with little support and are so kind and welcoming to everyone that you never seem to get the respect and thanks you truly deserve.
I think you did the right thing doing what you did and it's about time they were moving on as they have had long enough to sort themselves out. Had it been me I would have blown my top a lot sooner than you have.

I'm off now to do the ironing.
