Good morning ladies
Tis a dull dark day here but at least we haven't any snow or ice.
I'm off to have my hair done this afternoon as I am out with work for our christmas do tonight. A colleague is giving me a lift so I shall be having some wine with my meal.

I really, really need to wrap presents and try and write some cards today. Until my house is a bit straighter I cant even begin to think about doing my christmas clean. I do my mammoth 'spring' clean in winter.

Hope the decorating is going well Yvette and that you are enjoying the freedom of the wireless laptop. You'll never go back to a pc once you have got used to that.

When do you go to Taupo Ann? and does it mean we won't have contact with you for ages?

Red, hope all is calmer in your house today and your 'house guests' are doing the decent thing and pulling their weight and making a good move towards moving on. Maybe if they are still going to be with you for a while yet you could draw up a household chore rota so they can at least pull their weight around the house in exchange for their stay. Also have a meal planner of who is cooking what and when and who is buying the ingredients.

Hi to you too Farmeress, hope you are also ok and busy with the selling of your 'produce' making a good return for all your hard work. Wonder if the mother sheep wonder where their children have gone?? I have part of one in my fridge for tomorrow's tea.  lol

and on that cheery note I bid you farewell and a fruitful happy day.

Good morning,
Thanks for the hug Tigs, I needed that!  Things are very quiet this morning, lol, everybody is doing the tip toe dance around me, and being very quiet.  Ken was going o have a good talk with Mike this morning and he is outside fixing the car  right now, so I will have to ask him whats going on now. We talked a lot about the situation as it was he and I last night cleaning.  We decided that the ennd of the month was the end of their stay if they did not put forth effort to look for jobs and begin saving their money for a car. They also must buy a bus pass for both of them. There is a stop at the end of the street, it will take you ANYWHERE Wilmington.  I just woke so I am not sure what all has been said.
Joe and I however had a fabulous afternoon, we went to the mall, (which I never do) I hate the mal, but it was just enough stimulation to ward off those bad feelings and we bought a few items, and had lunch.  He was also feeling bad about his boss not returning his last 2 calls and feeling like something was wrong. He really likes his job and I hope Jim can get him back to work soon. He is waiting for his testing for the government contracts, (red tape takes forever) and also he has a major company that is refusing to pay him. He doesn';t want to go to court with it, but it is a big account and he needs to be paid for it. Joe finally did talk with Jim after I encouraged him to call again.  He feels better now that he has had an update, so things are looking better for the day at least.

ANn I hope your doing well...
Tigs,  Have  a tiggerific time tonight....Cheers!!!!!  SOunds just like what I need, a night out with a bottle, lol Boy these people would be in trouble if I got loose enough with a bottle, pmsl

Time to run off as I am going to hide in my tubby for an hour or so  I have a bit of a tension headache, so that with my advil should do the trick.

love you girls,   your my therapists, lol

Lovely to read your posts ladies Did not manage to get in yesterday, we went out for a Birthday meal, not too long but long enough for my knee to give me "merry hell" Came home and just fell into bed.

Just for your Red, I think it is absolutely Rude and worst possible manners to bring in food jus t for yourself and not others in the house.  Serve them right if next time you lay the table you leave their places bare.  No-one would even buy themselves an icecream from the icecream van and not bring one in for everyone else in the house.  HOW DARE THEY BE SO RUDE, Oh i could go on-if I was anywhere near them I would just box their ears!

Have a good evening Tigs, will have to go Jasmine is up and ready to go and Bill will be getting the breakfast and my knee is still wonky!
