Well, to-day I have been out in the car, Bill driving of course.  Tracy had Jasmine for a couple of hours and we went to Wellington to our "posh" shop and looked for some Christmas presents.  After that we went across to an outside cafe for a fresh squeesed orange juice.  The weather was very hot, I was on two crutches and balancing on those was a lot of fun

Still, I went out and that was the main thing.  My knee isn't too happy at the moment but there you go.  Tomorrow morning I go for physio again so thats a fun thing to be looking forward too

Christmas is coming up quickly-too qickly and I am so very far from getting all my Christmas jobs done.  I saw some really pretty wrapping paper whilst out, then I must have been diverted and now find I have come home without it!!

I was a bit like the Queen, did not carry any money with me, taking a handbag and the crutches was not very workable.  I was in charge of the buying Bill was in charge of the paying

Everyone says not to worry about Christmas this year, but thats easier said than done.  Christmas day everyone will be looking at the presents under the tree and I really must have some from us to go with them.

I have done some by phoning  up the store, got a really nice Tee Shirt for Jasmine with little Christmas trees with sparkling "lights" on it to wear on Christmas day.  Saw it advertised in the paper, it was in a little boutique dress shop, she will just love it.

Hope everyone has a good day, being Sunday I guess you will be doing the family roast and all the trimmings.

Enjoy your day

Morning...well it is as I start typing this.
Good to see you are getting out and about Ann, it's awful when you are confined to the house especially at this time of year. be careful if you sit out that you don't get too much sun on your scar this year as it will be very sensitive and you don't want to burn it.
How frustrating about the paper. Think if I was in the same predicament and had to rely on Wac to part with the money we'd have come home empty handed.
We are off to the supermarket shortly for some food and some items ie drink for christmas!  Now I know my sister, hubby and children will be at ours and my brother in law is drinking on the day I'll have to make sure I have enough stella in the garage. lol My sister is drinking the day we go to my Mum's between christmas and the new year.

I've got a few T shirts on order for the boys with funny slogans on.When they have arrived and I have wrapped them then my christmas shopping is done with the esception of buying James a camera and a couple of other things to make up the same value his brothers have had.

Red I am so pleased you are rid of your house 'guests' so that now you can focus on making arrangements to get your mum to you for christmas.

Now I have to go...so much to do and so little day left.

Hello ladies,

Yes Tigs,  I am planning to call Mom tomorrow morning as I am just home from work and waiting for dinner to arrive. Chinese delivery, mmm, I hope they hurry.
Tim and I worked today and we got a chicken biscuit on our way but that is all we have had after a full day.  A terrible mess of bi-carb crystals in the back water room, luckily I had the floor drain so I was able to get a hot bucket of water and pour it right over the crystals and they dissolved and most of it went down the drain.  I used the shop vac to clena up the rest. Took about half an hour altogether.

Ann can you do your shopping on the internet? There isn't much time left but most stores here are promising on time delivery still.  I am hoping Patty's snowman comes.
I took a new bouquet to Mike this morning. It had white poinsettas, scarlet red heather, and some mistletoe greenery, and pine cones, I think it looks nice.  There was a grave with a poinsetta shaped like a tree, very nice. I assumed it was artificial, but ?

I still have a few items to pick up, and I need to buy the candies for the cookies I am baking, but I need to wait until I am ready to bake hem, lol or I may still find myself needing those when I bake. I must get on with it, I have some dough made and frozen, but I need to make more.  I always seem to run out when I make up my packages.

Yes, Home is back to normal.  Did I tell you Bob lost his job?  Now our boss is the owners brother, instead of Ken's brother,  lol. I can't believe the 2 of them (Ken & Bob) are sitting behind me watching Harry Potter, lol
CHINESE!!!  ..
Back in the morning sometime, sleep well, or rather Good Morning
