Well, Roy went berserk in the surpermarket demanding free local rang eggs a lot of nothing this evening, still I went downstairs to look at it and lay on the sofa, made a nice change, will be doing that a lot more in future. Jasmine has her appointment with the paediatrician to-morrow afternoon, Bill will be taking us in the car, I do intend to go, be it on crutches. Still very glad it is this evening and not four weeks ago, then I was just getting ready to go into hospital early to-morrow morning Did not know what I was letting myself in for did I? How's your Dad now Tigs, to think he went through it twice I take my hat off to him. How long down the road is he now since the last Knee Replacement.? Jasmine had a good day, Kim took her to the big Mall where they had a good look round and she took her lunch so sat upstairs there and had it with an icecream. Then they went to the local library, Jasmine likes the library, and they read books and did some puzzles. She is very happy this evening so ovbiously enjoyed her day. Oh Red, you guessed it, I do like that silver plate, Bill said "Well you obviously like it very much, you have it and we will buy another present" but I feel mean to do that. People often say to me I choose nice presents, and I say its because I always choose something I would like to receive myself,so nothing new with the silver plate I have never gone on the net and bought presents, not quite sure how to go about it. Yes, I know I am way behind. Next year has to be "new technology" year. Then all I have to do is get my brain round that, which is going to prove difficult as I just am not that way inclined. You should have seen me when I first tried to drive a car, I thought the driving instructor would give up on me, but then look at me now a right little Stirling Moss!!! Well, I will be when my six weeks driving ban is lifted Oh Tigs I do so hope Robert gets FULL compensation for all the pain and suffering he has been through. I think it is just awful what he has had to endure. As I told you Auntie Mollie was in bed for a whole year after her motor cycle accident, and the careeer that was before her when she won Miss Great Britian was lost to her. Well think I will go to my bed, enjoy your day everyone  |

Morning ladies Oh Ann I do like your little pics you always add. I especially liked the one of the child hugging the cat upside down that you posted the other day. Made me laugh. Great to hear that Jasmine is having so many outings with Kim and enjoying her days. It takes the pressure off you, both physically and psychologically that your not having too worry about being well and mobile enough to do the things like that with her at the moment. Good to see your spending time downstairs Ann rather than in your room all the time. It's important to split your day/night up. I can't believe its a month since you were about to go in! Yeah my Dad was probably brave going through it twice but he had to or he would have become an invalid way before his time. He had his first op on 1st December last year and his second on the 16th June this year and now he is as active as he was two years ago which is pretty active/mobile for a man of 70 which he was then. You'll get there Ann, don't worry, and you'll soon be back to being as sprightly as a woman of 40 should be. I'm in a bit of a quandary about whether to ring in sick or not, whilst I am sat here focused on something I don't feel too bad, but I know if I get too busy and people are making demands I shall soon be impatient and concentration will be poor. Our clinics should run with a clerk, HCA, Dr and at least two nurses and because our clerk is off and possibly me then we'll be down to 2 nurses and a Dr. One nurse will have to clerk and the other assist the Dr so it means nurse can't see patients when assisting the Dr and then Dr sat idle when nurse seeing patients and no one for him to see or have an assistant or chaperone as in the case of this evening as it is a male Dr. In fact THE male Dr!! Think I have answered my own question here, an opportunity not too work with him, no decision to make really although I wouldn't actually be assisiting him as I would be being clerk tonight. Wow that was a bit of a ramble. think I should be sensible and look after no.1 here. Wac is off today and got the pleasure of taking Robert to the physio this afternoon so I don't need to go out. Talking of Corrie that's a bit of a strange story line Ann a bit disappointing really but i won't spoil it for you. I shall watch last night's two episodes later. Quite a bit going on at the moment but most of it is stuff and nonsense really. Several families having crisis. Toodle loo..... |

Hello again Well I bit the bullet and rang in....feel awful in one way but better in another that I won't have to drag myself through the day at work. Thinking of going back to bed now for an hour or so until it's time to get Robert up for his bath/shower. Night all. |

Evening ladies, I trust you are all snug as bugs in rugs. I too am exhausted and ready for bed, but it is way to early for me yet. I have 3 gifts yet to buy and I am done shopping for gifts. Chrissyjust dropped off Briannas kitchen set that I will keep untilChristmas eve. it's so cute, so much better then the one I had a as a child,cold metal thing I actually cut my finger on once. This one talks to you and makes sounds of frying and running water, boiling, etc. It's best you stay in your own warm bed tonight Tigs. Those sick people will just make you sicker. Give your body time to catch up. Ann have you ever recieved a card from me in the snail mail? Will you mail me your address so I can be sure I have the right one. I picked up my candies for the cookies tonight, but I am not into making doughs tonight, I put them in my closet. They are safe from everyone but me, lol he weather is suppposed to be very warm tomorrow, so I thihnk I will decorate a bit more outside. Tlak with you lovely ladies in the morning  |

This bug with her bugs is off to bed now.....I have posted Ann's card snail mail for her today...well Wac did. Also sent yours as well Red. Well done on almost having finished your shopping, Ann you must really try it it is sooo easy!! :-D Easy to order far more than you should as well. lol Night all sleep well. Love the mouse pic Ann that is just me...and thanks both of you for wishing me well. At the moment I am looking at tomorrow off as well but I do have Robert to take for an orthopod appointment at 3pm. |
