Morning LadiesOh Tigs, Roberts leg look so painful and sore.  It's a good job you have got all those terrible photo's as you will be able to present them when seeking compensation for all the pain your boy has been through.  They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and those photo's are very graphic.

Did not go our to-day either But hope to go to-morrow, I stayed home and Jasmine and Bill went and did a lot of shopping, plus going to the market for our fresh vegtables and some fruit.

Well at last some decorations are going up, Our house has never been this late with the Christmas decorations before, still that they are even being done this year is quite a big ask!!  Tracy said our house was looking like the Grunge house, no Christmas to be seen

We took Kitten Kat to the vets this  morning, well, thats the royal we as it was Jasmine and Bill.  I think I told you Kitten was a stray so we don't really know how old she is but we have had her sixteen years so she is at least that.  The vet has just phoned with some blook results and they are looking good, so we will wait for the rest of the results, then if all is well, she will have four injections to put her more into a "kitten" mood and will help the poor old lady with her walking.  She has lost about a kilo in weight since April, hence her big check up.  She does seem fine in herself, so we think, and we hope, it is just old age.

We picked some strawberries from our little tub of them to-day, they are a funny shape some of them, but they are very sweet and nice.  Bill reckons they are  not "beautifully formed" because we don't spray them or add anything, so technically they are pure organic.  I just leave them and let nature take its course I am a bit disapointed with my little plumb tree.  Last year it had several plumbs on it, then we let the tree surgeon shape and cut it, and this year it has absolutely none at all.  I planted it in a little place up the side of the house, I could not think where else to put it at the time, but it seemed to love its special patch, now I have let an expert give it a hair cut  and it is sulking

So glad Red, both 'E' mails got to you all right this time.  I have been sending you 'E' mails, one a thanksgiving one and they went to the wrong person,  Heaven knows who got them, I just saw you had not picked them up.  Also I sent you a Christmas card when I sent the others, but you were the only one not to pick up.  Mystery solved

I think I told you of my friend who had two total knee replacements, well the one that was bad from the begining is going to have to be opened up again.  Now the woman surgeon is saying she did the good one and the house doctor did the bad one.  The house doctor has conveniently gone to Australia now!!!!

The other friend it has been nearly six months and her leg is wonderful, so I have decided that is the path I wish to take  Actually Tigs you telling me your Dad hurt his first Knee replacement by falling out of bed on it, has been very good advice for me as a couple of time, especially in the hospital I was going to reach for something and then stopped thinking of what happened to him.  So his mishap has saved me having one

Think I better go and supervise  (now the hard part is done)  the decorating  of the tree!  Red ball there, fairy there, silver balls here, Oh I should be good at that! (thats me up the ladder)

Enjoy your day everyone

Good evening...
Very nice your tree looks too Ann.

What a lovely pussycat. How come a cat loses weight due to old age? Good to hear she is well though.

Au naturel strawberries eh? Bet they taste luscious.

How awful that your friend is having to have her knee replacement re looked at. All those months of suffering and then to be back at the very beginning again. I hope everything goes well for her next time.

I agree the positive path is the only way forward for you on your road to recovery Ann, glad my Dad's oopsy daisy spell made you more aware of your limitations whilst bed bound.

Today I went to town for a few hours and managed to buy James his camera. It took a while to choose one but hopefully I have chosen the right one. I also bought him some leather driving gloves with a fleece lining. He'll probably ask where his flat cap is as well. lol

I've got our laundry including the ironing up to date ready for when Mark lands with his lot later tonight. Hope he doesn't get here much later cos I'm about ready to want to go to bed.
As you can no doubt guess I am pretty tired so I am off now, I only popped in to be polite to poor Ann who has been home alone here and I hate it when it happens to me.
Be back tomorrow.

Hello girls
I finally made it to the computer for  a few inutes, as I dont think I will be lasting much longer. That bed is really calling me and it is so early for me to get in it, but I am so ready.
After getting in at 4 this morning, and getting to bed about 5:30 I was up by 12 to get a shower and dressed to go to Chrissy's jewelry party.  I don't wear much jewelry and only  went because I love her so, lol.  I did however, buy a beautiful anklet, and cross necklace.  The anklet I could not resist, because it is hard to find one to fit my fat ankle. These came in 9 1/2" and also with extensions, so I am hopeful it will fit.  The party wasn't too bad, there was great snack foods, lol.

After getting back home I made dinner, (scalloped potatoes with ham and cheese), and Joe and I made cookie dough and a batch of fudge.  The first batch of fudge didn't seem thick enough and after questioning Joe on his ingredients I discvered why, he had used 2 sticks of butter, instead of one., so I guess we actually made 2 batches.  Bob renamed the first batch (spoon candy) lol

I meant to get to the post office and get Christmas stamps for my cards,  but forgot, as I stopped off at the grcery on my way home and was sidetracked.  Monday

Well that about rounds up my day, and although I didn't get much accomplished,  I am whipped.

re Phillip...I m not sure exactly which muscle it is Tigs, but it sounds like your right about the problem.  Lisa doesn't oversee his leg like you have with Robert. Of course your so much more knowledgable about those things then she is.  He doesn't live a home either, so it is even harder for her to  keep up with his therapy as well.  He's learning the hard way about not doing his therapy.

Aw Ann I hope your older kitty is OK.It's so sad to watch our pets grow old. Gizmo is almost 10 now, and I am blessed he is still able to keep up with little Maggie. She's a pistol when it comes to playtime, lol

  G' night ladies
