Morning !
I guess you have had a busy day Ann seeing your not in first. Hope all is well with you.
Now thinking of all being well with people I do wish Sweet would just pop in and say hello, I am getting so worried about her now as it has been  months since we last saw her. Sweet I hope you are ok. Please make my day and just say Hi. Literally just Hi, no need for anything else unless you want to.

I can't be here long as I am only grabbing some quick breakfast and then I have to iron, use the treadmill (been trying to be good these last few weeks) I've already prepared the raw ingredients for Mark to cook shepherd's pie for tea as I wont be here. He doesnt know yet but he soon will.

I've some forms to check over with Robert and get them into the DSS as they now say Robert will be entitled to income support even though he is a student seeing as he has been 'sick' for more than 28 weeks since mid November. Everrybody apparently no matter what their circumstances is can claim after 28 weeks. No word as yet on the period of time between April and November.
I've also got to take some documentation into the lawyer to prove Robert is who he says he is and that they can run a check on him, basically to make sure they're not representing a 'bad guy'! lol

My poor car is also absolutely filthy not been washed since well before the bad spell of ice and snow so really need to get to a car wash seeing as I probably wont have time to do it by hand. Carpets also need a hoover but we'll see.

Ooh! Just remembered, it's payday today! I'm off to check the bank balance.

Late Good Morning from me girls, well actually it is 8.17am Tuesday here but whose looking

I have had a terrible night, no sleep and my knee is really giving me Hell.  I think it could have been physio yesterday morning that really started of off again.  The pain never really goes away, but the dull type is bearable.  But this one ouch!

We also went into town afterwards and I think I tried to "walk" too far.  I would not listen, I wa stir crazy and wanted out!

Off To have my hair cut to-day and a few, very few lights put in it.  It is Summer and my hair will blonde up very quickly in the sun at the lake, don't like to be too blonde! Actually as I type this I am thinking perhaps I won't have the lights, just the trimming, thats if the hairdresser knows what trimming is as opposed to Cutting a couple of inches off

No more kim now  We were too honest, and said Bill was now home for the holidays.  Still hopefully she will start again on the 20th January when we get back.

I still have presents to wrapp but at least there are presents. I began to think that there wasn't going to be any for a while there.!

Oh Lilbabs how nice to see you and hear all your news, Happy Christmas to you and your family.

How is Daisy doing, we would all love to hear

Yes Sweet where are you, wishing you and yours all the very best of the season

Hello Yvette, Happy Christmas to you and the Family Oh Yvette, how are we going to do all these pretty little pictures if your Yvette n'things are not on that face book site.  It is very different to this site, or can it be made so that we have sign in's and quizzes?

Tigs so glad Robert will be able to at least get some money whilst he is recovering from his accident Red I do hope you and the family have a wonderful Christmas break.   What a clever girl all that fudge.  It must have taken you ages to do.  I love Fudge.

Tigs, I do admire the way you are not fazed with all the family coming this year for Christmas.  Luckily this year we are off to Tracy's.  Well if it was left to me this year it would be "call in Pizza"  (just kiddidng, I would be panicing)  I have cooked for fifteen, and get everything I think we will need, then on Christmas Eve I relax and think, Oh well what I haven't got I haven't got.  On the day a glass of wine with a strawberry in it fixes everything See what I mean after a couple of glasses you could mistake a strawberry for anything!

Will dash now, take care of yourselves

Hello ladies,

  I too summon SWEET....
    ....and Farmeress
    ....and  Julie
....and time for an update from Yvette., at least we dan find her on facebook, lol

Pardon me for being slowww this morning as I fell off my chair reading Tigs post yesterday and hit my head, pmsl  not in the mood indeed..? still pmsl

Great news for Robert!  I hope that includes back wages he has missed.

Ann you mentioned going to the lake,  when will you be leaving???  We will surely miss you, did you say 3 weeks???  OH NO, I certainly hope you have some sort of internet.  Sorry your knee is so troublesome today. Surely you should be getting some relief soon from that agonizing pain.

Sorry your without your Kim,  if only we all could have  a Kim in our lives. Jasmine certainly sounds smitten with her.

We had a nice cookie exchange.  THe kids had a blast, and I am certainly glad it was all done at Patti's house, as there was quite a mess.  No, I am ashamed to say I did not offer to clean it up, lol Let the Moms of all those children do that, I did my years, lol  Got some great cookies in return.  I always love the cutouts by the kids, so much frosting on them.

I also got my jewlery that I ordered last Saturday at Chrissy's jewelry party.  I love the anklet, and the pendant I got. I can;t wait to use the anklet this coming summer. It has 2 chains with tiny stones of different colors all around each chain.  The pendant is a cross with a emblem of a mother /child in the center. Sterling silver as it looks best with my auburn hair, and light skin.  Merry Christmas from ME, lol

Well it's late already and I need to manage a few loads of laundry before work.  2 days off after tonight .
arrrr,  I am about to tell those neighbors off if they can't seem to contain their dog.  It is always coming over here and after Gabby, every time they let it out, because all theyd o is open the door and let the dog run.  I am suprised the home owner association hasn't sent them a letter yet.  They actually have 2 dogs, and it is the little brown one that is a nuisance.  The huge great dane just sits in his yard.   I have little patience for people who do not care for their pets and I consider letting them run freely, not caring for them. Too many things could happen to them, not to mention they could bite someone or something. Not very responsible at all.  Usually it is those pets that have not been vaccinated either .  Of course I could use the same argument about parents and children, lol

  take care ladies,  later

Evening ladies...loved all your news.....poor you Ann you were beginning to ramble a bit there, (I liked it though)  that knee must really be giving you some gyp sadly.
I agree with your philosophy Ann, if you don't have it bought by xmas day then tough! There is always more than enough of everything else to make up for minor missing items.

Your jewellery sounds lovely Red. Well done you for treating yourself. Glad the cookie exchange went well and quite right you didn't offer to clean up.

Well it's a good job it isnt freezing here because we have no gas and not likely to have neither until after christmas!

At 10am the cordless phone in the kitchen beeped like it does when the battery is flat so as I was checking it, the house alarm started going off so I thought we must have had a power surge. Turns out we now have no gas but at least we have got electric. My poor parents and sister had neither at midday and I've not rung to see if they have electric now as I didn't want to disturb them so late at night. I'll check in the morning.
Sounds as if we may not have gas for xmas day which is a bummer as I have gas hobs but thankfully I can use the microwave and steamer for the potatoes and veg and the oven is electric for the meat and roasties. Only thing I probably can't do is the soup, perhaps I should go and buy some melon quick for the starter.

I managed to get half the ironing done, use the treadmill and hoover out and wash my car. Had a tense moment come shower time because of the no gas, thought I was going to have to have a freezing cold shower - that was when we first realised it wasn't on, but it was ok as we have two showers operated on the boiler but the other two are electric. Phew!

Work was ok, a quiet clinic so we were finished almost an hour before we usually are.

I'm sure there are lots more things I would like to comment on but if you'll excuse me I need to go make a couple of cards before bedtime as I received two today that I wasn't expecting.

Talking of cards...Ann, thank you ever so much for yours, it arrived this morning. My first ever correspondence from New Zealand!
