Morning LadiesIt has been a real scorcher of a day to-day, very hot The forcast says fine for Christmas Day too, so I guess a lot of people will be having barbeques for Christmas Lunch.  No, not us, we are still Traditional Turkey, and plumb pudding, and yes even the brussel sprouts

I went to the hairdresser, and you would hardly know I have had a cut, still, thats better than coming home shorn!

I have some more rasberries on the canes.  I put them in years ago, and nothing, now this year they are heavy with them.  Luckily I put them all in an old wooden wine kegg so they won't spread.  I wonder what suddenly made them come alive

Tracy phoned to say she has got everything in for Chritmas now, so thats a good sign.  I have started Christmas a bit early and eaten much too much.  The first box of cherries came to-day, not too much left of those We always have them sent up from Otago, down where farmeress is.  These are really nice, but the next ones, we get when we are away are usually very big.  Oh I do like Cherries.  It's all part of "our" tradition out here and goes with Christmas now and the New Year.

Don't blame you over the clearing up Red.  Think you did your bit with all that cooking you did.  Just think of the cleaning up that took after the making.

Loved you parcel Tigs, won't open it until Christmas I promise Must say it looks promising in the picture

I salute you Tigs on the treadmillIt's good to know that Robert will be entitled to income support,  I would think so too with all the tax you and Wac pay and all the tax Robert will pay one day.  How was he supposed to live if he did not have such a fantastic home allready.  What happens to young boys who don't have anywhere to live?

We had lunch out to-day, Jasmine was very keen to have a ham salade sandwich and luckily they had one left, me, I had a cheese, ham and onion white bread toasted sandwich, yes, fattening, but just fancied it after my hobbling along!  Can't remember what Bill had

We bought some flowers to-day and a lady at the shop had had two knee replacements, she said it took her a good year before she felt O.K.  I think if that had been me I would not have wanted to go in for the second one!
She needed them because she was a hairdresser and stood for long periods of time and it affected her knees.
Lesson number one, sit and be a couch potato, watch t.v. do not  over use you knees

Jasmine is having a go because she says her night light is broken.  Actually it is not.  It is one that turns itself on and off with the light, and it is too light for it to work at the moment.

Boring thats what I am tonight, blame it on those tablets, that don't work, will go get a cup of tea and a biscuit.

Enjoy your day ladies

Hello girls

When I signed out yesterday it looked as though my post had been eaten my MSN, I am suprised to see it, but glad none the less.

My goodnes Tigs,  it's a good thing your wired as well as the gas. I haven't been without utilities since  hurricaine  Fran in '87.  We went a week and it was AWFUL.  I hope your weather stays comfortable for the next few days for those families totally without.

I also recieved your beautiful card yesterday Ann. What a lovely bird. Thank you!
Boring,  I should say not, maybe for yourself, but not for me. I love cherries so I supposed the best time to visit your country would be in December?  RIght now we are having a cold spell, but they are calling for very warm temps for Christmas day.

The dogs woke me this morning, but it's OK as I am off and didn't want to sleep it all away.  The exterminators were here for their quarterly inspection.
2 days off as a matter of factit's a shame they will fly by.  Nothing special for dinner tonight , probably some burgers as I am not cooking heavy.

Thanks for taking the cleaning up guilt away, lol  I really felt kinda bad, but just couldn't muster the energy.  There was such a  mess at Jacksonville last night from their Christmas party.  You'd think that they would leave us a nice goodie plate after leaving such a mess.  Ingrates!  It's hard to do such a meaningless job sometimes.  But when you think your not appreciated,  try going one night and not doing it,  you will get some attention then, lol, although it's not exactly appreciation that you get.

The cat is mad because I have all the gifts under the tree now and she can't lay there. She was literally standing beside me yelling at me, and I am not sure I should repeat what she said, It's her sunning spot, so she is not happy.  I can move a few of them so she can lay there.  She should be better now.  Old habits die hard.

Noon?  oh I should be going ...last minute Christmas dinner fixings need to be bought as I don't want to wait until everyone is out for their emergency items.  Traffic is already bad enough.
  Have a nice day!!

Oh ladies I am sooo tired but had to pop in quickly and have a read and leave a quick message.

I'm still salivating at the thought of the ham, cheese and onion toastie Ann, my fave also.

Today has been a long one and quite busy but not unpleasantly so. I think my problem is I stay up too late so don't get enough sleep. I was deterimined to go to bed as soon as I got in but....I called at Asda on my way home and now have everything - I think - for Thursday. If it isn't here then it's tough!!

The gas is now back on...not sure if we are supposed to be using it as rumours say it has to stay off until a gas official has been to check out the supply, but bust that, I was fed up of no hot water!! 'cept if I boiled it in a kettle.

Red your card arrived today, love the unusual pic on the front, made me think that that is how your home and transport may be like.

Oh dear I can't stop yawning.  Night girls and see you on xmas eve.
