Good afternoon,
It's a good day,.  Gabby came home last night.  She doesn't look injured or anything but she was famished. Lord only knows where she was,  but funny thing about it is I went on Mike's myspace page (my nephew that died)  and I asked him to watch over her because she was missing.  That was less the 24 hours before she showed up as we were leaving for work last night.  She came flying down the street as we opened the door a meowing her fool head off.  Maybe she was being held captive??  I cried, I was so overwhelmed because I knew Mike had done that. He loved kitty cats.

We have decided to give up Jacksonville.  The place is just not worht the aggravation and the time traveling to there.  It's huge and takes too much out of us after the other 3.  The wax boys were there agian last night as they had to come back because they had done such a poor jub in the treatment areas. The rest of the building looks wonderful, so I don't know what happened in the treatment room,  but it wasn't good.  The administrator insists on the back storage room being done every night, and we have been doing that, although our contracts say they only need done once a week.  They make such a mess back there with their bi-carb, and that stuff crystalizes when it dries, so it is hard to get up.  It's just best , maybe we can find the time to start looking local for cleaning jobs and be done with all that nighttime driving.  Losing the paycheck will be hard, but hopefully the Lord will bring us closer to home with a replacment job.

I have taken my Christmas deco down as well.  Not that I had much up to begin with.  I surely didn't get into the spirit this year.  I miss my white fence decorated witht the garland and red bows. I suppose I could have done the chain link fence here, lol,  but it would have lost something in the translation I think.

Ann I hope your havinga  nice time at the lake.  I guess you must not have internet connection as we have not heard from you,  but just in case, we miss you!!!  Be well!

Time I get myself a bite to eat while I wait on the mail man to see if the eagle will land today.  It's a bit windy out again. Maybe it will blow out the coldness it blew in to begin with, lol.  One can hope...right!

   Have  a nice day......

Hellooo
That's fabulous news about Gabby Red. Sounds like she has been trapped somewhere cos that is exactly how Boots was when she got lost for two whole weeks. I think Mike had a hand in that as well. Well done that man.

It has been a busy day here spent mainly at the Dr's and supermarket. I was able to get my Dad an appointment for this morning at the Dr's as he has that awful cold Alan and James have got. My Dad should have had an ecg last week but when we had the power cut the Dr's had to cancel his appointment. He now can't get it done until the 29th Jan. The Dr thinks his breathlessness is due to heart problems but the ecg will pick up anything as will the echocardiogram he may also have to go for. My Dad is understandably worried now as his older brother died at 65, 15 years ago of a heart attack. But my uncle didn't look after himself very well. My Mum is worried also and as she is a bit of a nagger and nitpicker with a very short fuse I have tried to tell her in a roundabout way that she needs to ease off him. Let's hope she takes my veiled comments on board.

I got the Dr to amend my x-ray card whilst we were there as he'd only put on to do one foot when it's my FEET that are giving me problems. I have an appointment for that on Monday afternoon. I could have gone this afternoon but I had to take my Mum shopping and then to her appointment mid afternoon to have her steroid injections for her back.

I'm looking forward to a peaceful night in now....no tea making as I bought Wac some stir fry stuff. James a half a chicken which he can put with some left over mash and Mark had a full tin of 8 hotdogs and 6 finger rolls at 3pm and is feeling full still. Sorted!
