Morning LadiesWell, actually it is afternoon here.  Bill has taken Jasmine to the Pool and as we are going out this evening for a 25th wedding anniversary dinner I thought I would skip the "hot" pools and my knee said a big Thank You, and they are going to the regular pool and checking it out as it is new and only just finished a couple of months ago

I thought I would try the computer and after much messing around I have got it to go.  We were lucky the other time it caught onto someone else's broad band (think thats what Bill said) anyway I really did not care as long as I could "have a go" at posting.

The weather here to-day is very hot, so I have all the windows open and the doors.  The cats are out cold, they must have been out all night enjoying the country fields and hundreds of different wild life.  Lucy has turned out to be quite a bird chaser, but with her coloring she does not have much of a hope I am happy to say, but it does not stop her from trying

I am happy to say we don't as yet have emission testing for the cars, but I bet it won't be long coming if the transport division get to hear how much money they can make from it  Oh that was not what i wanted on it but this computer is not behaving itself, so better not argue with it!

Well, i have chunky, short squared feet Tigs, I have not liked them very much through the years, as I can never get really pretty shoes that are wide enough, but obviously they have some use if they have less problems.  Still would not mind nice slim beautiful feet still can't change my feet now!!

Oh Red your not Evil, you are just too kind hearted and can't say NO, you sound like me you need an excuse to not have unwelcome guests!!

Oh, I saw my January, after I had posted, I had a laugh, but at least the flaming computer posted  lol

HelloSweet, nice to see you.  Your MinnieSota sounds like you look after her pretty well.  Quite an age 15 for a dog isn't it?

Oh Red I have tried that Multiply again here, and no luck, it keeps saying we already have someone of that name, Yes, I shout at it it is me, but then I don't know what to do to make it let me in!!!  Will wait until I get home before trying again.

Don't feet guilty about buying pretty things Red, We don't do we Tigs.  I always say to Bill, "I did not buy them for me, but for you as you have to look at me"!  Not sure he buys that but, there you go!!

We had a really nice lounger under the house but we have had to go without it until today as Bill could not find the right key to the door, so to-day a locksmith came and fixed it - so lounging is now on the schedule!!

I have bought the Book to read - Michael Parkinson, Parky, My autobiography, but so far not got it started there always seems to be something going on.

We have managed to get a really nice lady to "baby sit" Jasmine this evening so we were very lucky, or else we would not have gone.  NOW, of course the big question is WHAT WILL I WEAR, I have not bought much us here with me for evening, and what with Christmas and New Year things are fitting a little tight!!!!  Never mind, a nice Tee shirt, linen pants (thats if I can bear them over my knee) and lots of "bling" (well what I have got up here) so that means I will be going very understated, "very vouge" (Very vouge, in my dreams)

All the best for your fathers tests on Thursday tigs, and hope your feet get sorted out soon too.  Do be careful with driving on those country roads, I can remember the car slipping once when driving in England in the winter, luckily it just glided until the lampost and curb stopped it

Enjoy your day Ladies.

Morning ladies
Happy Birthday Sweet.  I'm sorry but I haven't posted a card because I set myself or maybe you a target time of response after receiving your christmas card and when you didn't fulfill it I presumed you weren't available or not at your address or whatever, and I decided I wouldn't risk making and sending a birthday card. Sorry.
It is nice to see you have been in here but I sense all is not really well with you and has been much worse during your absence. I hope things are improving for you and we get to see more of you in the future, although after February it will have to be on facebook where Yvette has created a membership for us. Best wishes to you Sweet for continued improvement.
Lol at Minnie it must be the porridge that keeps her going and of course your excellent care.

Ooh! naughty naughty Ann using someone else's internet connection. Serves them right though if they haven't taken the time to set up a secured connection. Just don't be checking your online banking or anything else of a similar sensitive nature whilst not using your own secured connection. I'm very happy to see you on here though Ann regardless of how you have managed to get here. Keep it up.

Red I'm sorry I can't remember what your news was yesterday and daren't go back to look.( I shall have a re-read after sending this though) I did read when I got in from work at around 9.30 last night but was too tired to comment on Sweet's reappearance or anything you had put.

It is very dark and gloomy here and we have had a little snow overnight but it is now on top of the ice from the last couple of days. It is 0c so not exactly freezing but it is cold and treacherous under foot.
My aunts who are in their mid eighties but very active - my Dad's sisters- one of them slipped and hurt her wrist last Friday but didn't go to hospital until Monday, and she has broken it. She had to go into hospital yesterday and they may have had to pin the wrist as it was so badly out of place. I haven't rung yet to see how she is but will do shortly. I was thinking I would visit her this afternoon but I am a bit pushed for time as I have to be in work for 3.30pm and the journey from hospital to work is about 30 miles. I can go tomorrow though as I am over in that direction as I have some solo protect training to go on at midday.
I bet my Dad is anxious to visit but the weather where he lives can be worse than it is here and he is a bit nervous himself about going out in icy weather since he has had his knees done.
Wac is going to take him for his appointment tomorrow if the roads are still bad.

Right best be off and make the chicken and bacon casserole for the boys tea.
I'm hoping to have a session on the treadmill as well. Which reminds me now Red that you are searching for one as well. You are probably going to struggle at this time of year with everyone having made NY resolutions to lose weight and get fit. Best time for a bargain is a few months down the line when everyone has splashed out on new kit and lost interest and want to get rid of what they bought. Have you had a static exercise bike before? I have and couldn't stand using it as I felt it was so boring just sat there with only my legs moving and getting nowhere. I also found it uncomfortable on my back but hey I like the treadmill so will stick with that.
