Afternoon ladies
It's sooo cold, wet and windy up here at the moment. I've been packing for crisp cold days but think I need to review what I'm taking to cope with the damp as well.

I am going to potter today, anything that keeps me warm. Don't want to just veg out in front of the fire and watch tv, well not this early in the day but maybe later on.

I may help Mark with the crafty bits of his assignment work for his Uni project that has to be in tomorrow as he is working against the clock to get it ready to hand in.

Wac has just gone off to my parents to see if he can be of assistance as their boiler has been nothing but trouble since we had the power cuts during christmas week. They are anxious about going away whilst there is no heating on in their house but not a lot they can do about it at this stage unfortunately.

I got your message re the jewellery purchases Red and the pieces sound lovely. Can't wait to see a pic of them.

Not got much else to say so shan't bore you all with twaddle.
I'll be back later to see if anybody has been in.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Hi
I've just popped in to say a final Hi before I say Bye as I won't have time to post in the morning.
We are leaving here at 7.30am tomorrow and won't be back until early evening on Friday.

I'm all packed and our lunch is in the fridge so I hope I don't forget to take it!

I didn't need to help Mark with his assignment but I am rather worried as he is very tired after his late night last night and he intends to stay up as long as it takes to get the work finished even if it means not going to bed! He has a 90 mile round trip motorway journey to make mid morning tomorrow so I won't rest until he texts me when he gets home safe and sound.

Robert has finally got in the shower which means it is going to be an hour yet before he's bathed and dried enough for me to dress his leg!! I'll probably go to bed and doze till he summons me.

Have a good week Red and you too Ann if you pop in again and keep Red company.  Good wishes also to anyone else who passes through.

tattee bye.

OHHHH  SHOOT!!!
Tigs I hope you catch this post before you leave as I wanted to wish you a safe trip , (and a quick one, lol)   I just got in the door from work and on my way home I thought that I have to get logged on because you were leaving in the morning.  I worked by muyself today as I only had 2 to clean. Ken spent 14 hours getting Wallace all burnished, he got in at 7 this morning.  Although he had the floors all done I had a ton of dusting to do .  I had to wash all the windows and dust all the blinds. They have  a vinyl runner baseboard and the dust just clings to it, so needless to say I spent nearly 4 hours there myself , a lot of it on my knees Top to bottom that place shines!
I understand about your being so weary of Mark tomorrow. I will include him in my prayers, we will get him home safely
The fellas have me a lovely plate of BBQ chicken and white cheddar pasta. I smell muffins too, blueberry if I know my Joe, lol
Take care Tigs, have a nice time!  Be safe.

Ann I hope your doing well, and able to enjoy your time away.  I'll hold down the fort while you are all absent....
