Morning Ladies Oh  Red, I am surprised that the blood was not cleaned up when it first got on the floor, all the warnings there is nowadays about contanination and infections.  Hope you wore your rubber gloves.  I can't have our Red coming into danger whilst at work Like Tigs, I am sure there is procedure that has to be strictly followed when blood is spilt.

Well the T.V. has been full of the new president of the United States, Obama, every time the T.V. went on it had a full coverage from early this morning and even now the news at ten will be all about it.  I saw the swearing in Red, Then Ted Kennedy having to be taken to hospital during the dinner, then Obama dancing with his wife.  Yes we had it all.  One woman who was at the American Embassy here in Wellington said she knew Obama's mother when Obama was a teen ager, and his mother worried that he did too much sport and not enough studying!!! She need not have worried.

Kim took Jasmine to the Movies today, it was a hot day but I had kinda promised Jasmine she could go and see the film about a dog hotel, and she was not about to let me renege on my promise-or the popcorn to go with it

Oh Tigs  do hope your headache is better now, headaches are so debilitating and it makes you feel so
miserable

Well, I have one apple on my "new" apple tree.  The one I put in last year (well I supervised)! still its a start isn't it? and I did what the book said over the grapes and ruthlessly cut off the little bunches so that I will get bigger bunches for picking-Well, thats the theory, and of course I have to remember to cover them with wire netting or I will have done it all for the birds to enjoy

Physio again to-morrow, I just love that!!!  when I feel sorry for myself I think of your Robert Tigs, its been nine months for him,  How is he getting on now.  It will soon be as long as it took Auntie Mollie to get over her motor cycle accident all those years ago. She was in bed for a year with her leg.   You would have thought the doctors had a quicker way of healing by now wouldn't you?  Still the main thing is he is healing, I want to send him my love, I know I only know the boy through you Tigs, but I feel like he's a part of "our" family, and am keeping those prayers up

Hello Yvette if you "pop" in, and to everyone enjoy your day

Aw thanks Ann re Robert. Progress is still slow and he hobbles and limps about quite a bit. He hasn't had physio since a week before xmas and was told he would be given an appointment in the new year to attend a group physio but nothing so far so Robert rang yesterday. He was told he was on a waiting list but Robert said that wasn't any good as he felt he wasn't making progress without regular attendance at physio, so he has a one to one assessment booked with a new guy next Monday as his other physio has now left.

His skin is almost healed but there are one or two areas yet that are being stubborn so I am still dressing it. He goes back to Wythenshawe next week for the consultant to check it over. The sooner that area can be left undressed will be psychologically better for him because he will get used to it being on show which I think is going to be difficult for him to adjust to the stark reality of seeing it all the time Bless him.

We are still fighting for a benefit claim for him. Grr! His original claim has gone to a tribunal and waiting to be heard and his second claim the rigmarole of filling forms and providing certain bits of paperwork has begun once again!!
Other than that Robert is doing ok thank you! lol

My headache seems to have gone, think I was just over tired as I had a reasonable nights sleep until I was woken at 3.30am by Mark who wanted to be let in as he had forgotten his keys. Think I will start making a noise and wake him up now!

Ooh an apple eh Ann...well done! I hope you get many more.

Lol at the birds helping you pick the grapes, I'm sure they will given half a chance! They certainly like yellow crocus over here.

I haven't seen any of the Obama footage but I haven't really seen the tv over the last couple of days so I suppose that would help if I did.

I'm off to have my hair trimmed soon but before that I want to go on the treadmill for half an hour before my shower so on that note I shall love you and leave you all.
