Evening ladies
Just a quickie before I disappear to make tea. Roast chicken in bacon I think and Wac can have sausages!

I've had a nice afternoon visiting my young friend who is now 26 and I met her when she was a mere 14 with a very young baby. That baby is now almost 12 and has a sister of 9 and a brother of 3 and the family are doing very well. I am so proud of how well she has done as the first 21 years of her life were absolute cr*p! Whilst I was there she had a friend round who is expecting her fist baby and is only 19 and she has been teaching her how to cook like I first taught her many years ago when she lived in the supported accommodation I worked at. We've kept in touch over the years, not as much as perhaps we should/could but it's always nice when we meet up at xmas and birthdays.

Red I've seen a ratchet tool/monkey wrench type thing advertised on tv, and at the press of a button it clamps itself against a pipep without the user having to twist the nut to make the jaws move closer together and the same to release it. I've been thinking what a great idea but not got anyone to buy one for. If you don't buy anything in the end then don;t see the gift card as an easy way out cos I always think if in doubt it's better to buy a gift card for a store you know they frequent or better still give them the actual cash.

Wish it was 70c here...it's barely 2c and absolutely freezing! One of our radiators is leaking so think I might have to ring Dad tomorrow and get him to look at it for us. The boys noticed it and switched the radiator off and put a bowl underneath. I'm still shocked at how sensibly they acted about something they know nothing about.

Off to make the tea now.
