Morning ladies
Especially Ann it is so lovely to start my day reading your news whilst I eat my breakfast.

Oh Yvette that was a close call with the bird and Zack.  So glad Charlie was ok.
Lovely to hear all about your house improvements. I always feel so much better when my house looks nice. We could do with new doors throughout in this house but the budget won't allow it as we have spent up on the other work we have had done. We'd have to get 14 in total.  Guess they will have to wait awhile.
Has David been doing most of the work whilst he has been 'off' work?
Best of luck of him finding something soon as I'd hate to think of his redundancy running out and you relying on the state as that money goes nowhere at all.
I think everywhere is bad at the moment though, even Wac says he's noticed a slack in his trade.

Oh Yuk! Anne. I don't envy you having had that barium meal. They are necessary because an x-ray can't display soft tissue so the ingredients in the 'milk' define areas in your insides that would remain unseen otherwise. When will you get your results back?
Lol at your glasses, I'm the same I have a couple of cheap low magnification specs I bought from a supermarket and they are kept in 'strategic' places. Also a few months ago I bought a 'proper' pair which cost an arm and a leg and now I wear them most of the time when I am reading, computing and crafting. The other day I went to Argos to have a look for a shaver for Mark and when I tried to read the words I relaised I couldn't see them without really struggling and that was with the catalogue at arms length.

Nope not got my extra pair of insoles as my podiatrist wasn't in clinic the other day when I popped into surgery. I'll try another day or just wait until I go back for my review in January.

Robert's visit to the hospital went ok. The bone is still very slow healing but the consultant said it's 'only' been 7 full months since the accident and it can take at least 12 months. The x-rays from 6 weeks ago and last week show very little change. He has to go back in 2 months and they may admit him for a few days to begin him using an electronic stimulator that encourages speedier bone growth. They could issue the item as an outpatient but then the pct has to pay for it and he says it is so expensive that they won't issue one. So the alternative is if Robert is admitted and issued it then and leaves hospital with it then his own GP has to fund it. I would have thought the other way round would have applied but I suppose he knows what he is talking about. I'm a little concerned that Robert may not get this if it is left to our Gp to pay for. Remember I used to work there and know what goes on behind the scenes. Maybe this is one of the 'special treatments' that our solicitor says Robert can claim for through his compensation. I'll be enquiring about this one.

Red I have sent another email to the addy I have for you, also the link one I sent in reply to the original mail you sent to me. Anyway please let me know if you receive it.
I can't believe you say your all fudged out! lol
I really, really need to have a clear out on here and soon!
I too have things signed in all the time and have forgotten passwords. I do have different ones for different things but sometimes it takes a couple of attempts to find the right one for places I only visit occasionally.

Tis a day for Wac and I to work together to get all the jobs doing that I want doing! Poor bloke had his own ideas of how to spend his day off but needs must.  lol

Best be off now to make a start on them as the day is flying by already.
