Evening ladies.... I don't think my Dad would remember when he was almost pain free Ann, but I seem to think it was a month or two. He had his first op beginning of December and whilst we were at the holiday cottage at the end of January he was finding it difficult to walk or stand for long and he always wanted to keep him and his knee warm to minimise the pain. I think Dad used a heat pad to soothe his leg/knee whilst sitting down and in bed. I would think your new knee still has a lot of settling in to do as well as the surrounding tissues needing to accept it and heal from the very brutal treatment it has all had during the operation. I hope you will manage to get online Ann whilst you are away and you can share your holiday adventures with us. Have a lovely time and I sure am gonna miss your daily postings. Red lovely to hear your xmas day went well also. I agree it is such a fuss and takes so long to arrive and then it is over in a flash. Never mind only another 363 days before it happens all over again!! Know what you mean about being tired for apparently no reason Red, I haven't really been busy today or worked hard but I am sat here yawing. I have been shopping today, Boundary Mill are having a sale and I had a guest card that got me an extra 10% off everything, so I bought a new pair of Klass black trousers for work and a couple of plastic drawer chests for my craft stuff. Wac has been working today as he wanted to see how busy it could be. He says he took enough money to make it worth the effort. Well he was happy and so was I cos I escaped for a little retail therapy for a wee while. I took my Mum who bought a few bits for herself but spent more time sat down than looking round. Now it's a relaxing evening in as it is quite a chilly night out there. Brr. |
