Hi Ann:  I guess there is just you and me here.  We have been abandoned by Red ... its that Tigs fault.

Just to let you know that I have come in a few minutes ago from shovelling my driveway.  We will be getting a really big dump over night, so I wanted to get a headstart.  And the temperature is supposed to go way down.  Right now is about minus 1 and its 7:05 pm Tuesday evening.  But by the time we get up it will be minus 29!!!!!    Any exposed skin is in danger of frost bite.

So funny, that I am talking about snow and freezing, and you Ann are having your summer (I guess) with hot tubbying.

Sorry to hear about your knee ... I guess you had surgery?  And it is taking time to heal?  Be very open to the Reiki treatment.  I will be curious how it will affect you.

Re weight loss, its not always about what you eat, but also what you dont eat.  When I changed my eating regime, I gave up potatoes and bread and cheese (all my favourites) and now eating a lot of green stuff.  And as you know, I love green smoothies too.  I eat a lot, but the right stuff ... no processed, prepared or refined stuff.  In fact, when I get invited over - like at Christmas - I bring my own food: enough to share with everyone else. And they usually end up liking it more than their dishes.

I went to a potluck last Sunday, and brought dessert and a small salad for myself.  Ended up sharing with the group.  The dessert was really yummy.  You might want to try it out for yourself.  Very easy.  Soak 6-8 prunes for a few hours. Throw them into a food processor together with the soaking water and get them really smooth (just make sure there are no pits).  Then add one or two bananas and get the whole mixture smooth.  I add a tiny bit of cinnamon.  And thats it.  When you leave it in the fridge, it solidifies a bit and looks like chocolate pudding.   There is no sugar, or eggs or flour or any other goo.

Better end now, as Red might be popping in.

Good night or Good morning - wherever you are.
