Sweet I am so sorry to hear about your friend and I can only begin to imagine how sad you must be feeling. It was good that you did get to see her when you did. 
I'm sure she is at peace now and free of her suffering but how sad that she has died so young. (I'm presuming she is a similar age to you Sweet)
Oh the snow is awful. I have had to drive in 3rd gear all the way home and then negotiate the two hills and steep drive once off the main road. Wac rang to say he'd gritted the drive but if only he'd bothered to stand and work out just exactly where my wheels would need to go then I could have got up much easier.
The forecast is for more snow over the next few days and tomorrow night is the clinic which is furthest from home.
I made my boys a chicken and bacon casserole which Mark forgot to tell Robert about and he hasn't eaten his either!! Why do I bother.
Re multiply I did sign in ages ago Red but cant remember my details now so I am going to just stick with facebook.
I too hope your new president can do everything he says and what the people would like him too but it always seems to me that a new government spend most of their term undoing what the last lot did before they can start making their own mark and then their time is almost up.
Not been a busy day but I'm still brain dead so not going to rack my brains too much to add anymore here cos it hurts!
