Do you dust or Vacuum First ? |

Hmm..that's interesting you two...why do you do it that way? I dust then vacuum cos if any dirt has escaped the duster and landed on the carpet then it gets sucked up. |

I was taught to always vacuum first I think its because years ago as you were hoovering some dust used to escape and go into the air so was told to hoover then wait a while for dust to settle then do the dusting lol . |

that makes sense, Tara. I dont bother to do either, unless I really, really have to. Then it doesnt matter what order. |

I'M aways dusting............lol but i don't vacuum every day.............we never get that much mess to clean up just the odd crumb or two!! |

That's a very good point Yvette....now you mention it I think I remember hearing that years ago. I wonder if I ever used to do my housework that way round and then developed my current style when hoovers improved? |

I always dust first otherwise if i dust after then the dust goes onto the carpet |
