Sometimes ( if it hasn't been washed ) a little dish soap worked into the spot will help !!!!!

Thank you Red.

The clothes have already been washed and dried, and thats when I discovered the oil spots.

I think there is an Amway product that is supposed to be good but I cant remember what it is.  Others have suggested putting some dishwashing liquid and giving it a gentle rub.

My Sweet what an ambiguous title......

Wac suggests...white spirit, petrol or gunk rubbed lightly into the offending area.

I always use a little bit of washing up liquid mixed with some wash powder and rub it into the oil spots..it always works for me. Good luck x

I got fed up trying all these different suggestions, and ended up chucking stuff out.

I do appreciate everything that everyone wrote.

Guess I have too much money!!!  (if only)

Sweet! I can't believe frugal you would do that. Lesson learnt here then is to be appropriately dressed next time or if that's not possible then take more care not to spoil your clothes!
