On behalf of my family and coven,
we would like to invite you to our annual Yule/Christmas dinner on
Friday, December 21st, 2007. The evening will start off with our Yule Rite to honor the birth of the Sun God,
however it is not mandatory that you be present for that. If you would like to attend to
just watch what we do, then you are more than welcome to.
Dinner will be at 7pm, but that could change. I will keep you posted. Like most of the events we host, this too is a family affair and we would love it if you could bring your family with you. There will be activities for the children to do and perhaps this year
we'll have something fun for the adults too! This year we will be having a secret santa gift exchange.
The limit on this gift is $10.00. We know how difficult the holidays can be so we like to put some sort of limit that would be fair to everyone. No names on the gifts please, but make sure it is wrapped. One last request, the coven and I will be supplying a lot of food for that night, and we would appriciate it if you could perhaps bring a plate of goodies to share.
Cookies, candies, brownies, anything you could think of that doesn't require too much work for you. This event will also be BYOB if you plan on having a few drinks.
In the event that you do, please make sure you have a designated driver with you
or be prepared to leave your keys at the door.
There are too many fatal accidents out there over the holidays
and we want you to be SAFE! If you can make it please let me know by posting here and also by e-mailing me
at [email protected] so I can contact you with our home address and phone number. For those of you that already know, just remember we don't live in the basement
anymore, we're on the main floor now. *smiles* I will also need to know by no later than Saturday, December 8th, 2007
for budgeting purposes please. If you will be bringing your children I will need to know how many kids. I like to give all the kids a little gift bag with a few goodies in it and I would hate to miss one child. If you are unable to attend then we wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Blessed Yule.
