Dear valued Members,
Hello and good evening to you all. I hope you're all doing well and life is going good for you. I have come with some news that some of you may not be aware of. I must advice you first that you do NOT panic and worry.
If you have not heard, MSN groups will be closing their doors February 21st, 2009. They have already begun the "migration" to a new site called Multiply. Some people have already gone over, others have found homes else where on the world wide web. This is not a rumor. If you have not seen the message at the top of your page while in a group, it confirms that the migration has begun.
MSN is set to launch Window's Live Groups in November. We don't know at this point what it will be like but we are waiting to see if it will at all be similar to MSN Groups or not. So far there are mixed feelings about Multiply. I have not migrated us over there and right now I am not going to. This group means a lot to me yes, but I also want your imput on what happens and where we go. It shouldn't just be my sole decission, it should be everyone's. This is just as much your home away from home as it is mine.
I assure you, I am not ignoring this move. I have slowly begun to check out other sites to see if we could make it work or not. In the meantime however I do not want anyone to feel fear or panic, even worry. I would love for you to all come out and post, share experiences, your life, whatever you feel comfortable sharing. We only have a short time left on MSN and I would appriciate to see everyone around a lil more than normal just so we can stand together and be strong. As the American moto goes, "United we Stand, Divided we Fall". This is a tough time for a lot of people and I feel we need to stand United and support eachother through this in whichever way we can.
I strongly suggest you take the time now to save anything and everything you want from this group. Yes it will all go to our new home where ever that may be, but if you want it now, please save it. Do not snag backgrounds at all that have been made by me or any graphic created by a licensenced artist. Hopefully where ever we do go, I will be able to add my backgrounds back, but for the time being, please do not snag those. All the written information you see on the various boards, please feel free to. If you have uploaded pictures in the photo albums but you have since then deleted them off your computer, feel free to resave them.
The holidays are slowly approaching and this will be the last one on MSN groups. The management team and I have decided to try to make this the best one ever before we go. We ask that you come in and enjoy the spirit of the holidays with us.
For now all rules stand as is. I will revise the rules a little at the beginning of January, so please keep an eye on those. Mainly it will concern your email settings and what not. At that point we will also go private and will not be accepting any new members to the group. Hopefully by mid January we can all decide on a new home and we can begin to move over to it.

I would also like you all to know that over the last few years I have seen members come and go...and then theres you, those that have stuck by me through thick and thin. You have no idea how much having you at the group has brightened it. It is because of amazing people like you that Raven Wyches of Yggdrasil has become what it is today. I for one will miss this a lot and those that chose not to come with us when the time comes. I sincerely hope you will decide to join us in our new home. The personalities you have all brought to this group is what made me smile. It's because of you that I have continued on this long journey with MSN Groups and I hope somewhere along the way we have been able to make even a small difference in your life...I know you have all impacted mine in so many wonderful ways. You are special and unique individules, never let anyone tell you otherwise. Never let anyone ever tell you you're a freak or stange in a negative way. You are you and I for one admire, respect, and love that about each of you. Having you be a part of this special online home has been amazing...and I thank you all for being here with me each and every step of the way. Just know...in one way or another, you all mean a lot to me and I love you.
