Cathy is home at last. They still have her heavily sedated so she will sleep and heal.
She has 79 staples in her chest and stomach area, plus 20 abdominal stays and 2 drains.. She is very weak from all the surgerys and needs lots of help moving around. A nurse comes to the house everyday, to clean and redress her incessions. This will be a long recovery period we are looking at, but she feels better just being home, She has to go back to the doctor on the 30th and one of the home nurses is going with her to see just all the he wants her to do for Cathy. The nurse did find another abscess and will see how the doctor wants to release it. We will worry about that when the time comes. Right now keeping her a comfortable as can be is my main goal. Serenity is so happy to have mommy back
and Cathy is so happy to have Serenity around her. Cathy wanted me to say thanks to all , for your prayers and kind thoughts and wishes.
