Blind River is a very welcoming community of approximately 4000 people. Ideally located on the Trans-Canada Highway halfway between Sudbury and Sault Ste Marie Ontario, we offer visitors the beauty of Lake Huron’s North Channel and a culture molded by a century of logging history. Travelers visiting Blind River will be impressed with the friendliness of our residents, all the amenities offered and of course our summer and winter festival events. Whether you like to hike, fish, canoe or shop, Blind River has it all. Be sure to stop by the Blind River Travel Information Centre to get more information on local and regional events. The Travel Centre is open throughout the summer months and on week days during the winter. The Travel Centre is located on the East Side of Blind River right beside our historic Timber Village Museum
