thought I was not born in the southwest corner of the state of texas, this border city links to another country...Mexico. El Paso is a city that connects two countries which is divided by the Rio Grande. El Paso basically has only two weather seasons, Summer which is very Hot and long and winter which is somewhat cold but very, very short. Because it's connected to it's border sister city Juarez,  folks who come to el paso can cross the border and buy mexican goodies.No major lakes, forests or beaches abound here, but plenty of desert. White sands in white sands, new mexico. and plenty of desert shrubbery over all....
