We don't have a lot in terms
of life's material things
But all I might have wouldn't
mean anything without you
I look to you each day for a
smile, a reassuring touch
A reason for the sigh I hear
when my lips touch yours
Each tomorrow brings to me a
chance to express my love
A message even unspoken
can coax you to want me
Time will age those physical
features that tempt us now
I'd like to feel I'll always quench
your passion and desires
For within your arms I long to
remain giving you all my best
I want you to always desire me
because my love is strong
Our love, as solid as a mountain
can withstand the test of time
And it has always been my destiny
to love and to be loved
How could either of us feel inside
the love that burns within us
If we lived alone so empty and
alone, looking back on only memories?
