Greetings My Dear Dedicants,
With Light & Shadows growing up and entering a wider span of seekers to the Ways of the Wise, I would like to start a mentoring program so I am opening this opportunity of learning to you all, which is the first steps of a priestess, to be able to guide new seekers gently and be there to answer their questions and keep them knowing that they are part of our group and if they want, our coven.
In this program, I would like to have you keep in contact with your member(s) at least weekly, but preferrably anytime you think about it. They should be sent a personal invitation to any rituals and workshops that are designed for anyone and not specific to a dedicant or degreed priestess.
(please do not refer to them as "newbys" ...to me, that is a tacky name for a new member...at this point, before dedication, they are "Seekers".)
Let them know that they are a member of our family. Help them feel at home and cared for. Answer questions and if needed, always refer them to me if it is something that you cannot answer directly.
Each of you have been through the dedication and have been members long enough that you should be very familiar with all areas and policies of Light & Shadows. Remember to always encourage them to post-post -post.
Always feel free to contact me if there is any problems as you know I am always here for you. It is important for you to be able to help, with authority as a covener, in most areas a new seeker will be asking about. You are getting closer to your goals and this is one more step to reaching your potential.
