Tea Couscous
- 1 cup Red Rose Black tea
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup fresh or non-concentrated orange juice
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 ripe banana, slice thin
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or alternative liquid sweetener
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup couscous, whole wheat
Directions: Place all ingredients in a saucepan and stir. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, let sit in pan for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve hot. |
