1 and 1/2 pounds of Hamburger
1 small onion (diced)
1 large can of diced tomatoes
2 large cans of tomatoe sauce
2 small cans of mushrooms
1 TBsp oregano
1 TBsp garlic powder

Brown hamburger with onions in a large skillet, drain the grease and add the tomatoes, tomatoe sauce, and mushrooms.

Place the oregano in the palm of your hand and grind the leaves between your palms deosil over the tomatoe mixture allowing it to sprinkle evenly.

Sprinkle the garlic finely over the surface of the sauce and stir it in gently.

Simmer on low (about 200 degrees) for 30 minutes Stirring occasionaly.

While sauce is simmering, set water to boil and add canola oil to keep noodles from sticking together. When water has reached a rolling boil, add noodles and cook until aldente. Drain when finished cooking.

Pour 1 c. sauce over 1c. noodles and garnish with Parmesan/Romano cheese (also very good with cottage cheese!)

Serve with garlic toast and a spinach salad for a complete and nutritious meal.
