Scalloped Potatoes with Garlic Chives

3 cups cooked, sliced potatoes
3 tablespoons chopped garlic chives
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
3/4 cup milk, warmed
1/2-1 tsp. salt
Ground black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a casserole
dish. Layer the potatoes,sprinkling chives over each
layer. In a small bowl, or measuring cup, combine the
margarine or butter, milk, salt and pepper. Pour this
over the layered potatoes. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
Serve with more chopped chives, and if desired,
freshly grated parmesan cheese.
