Reconciliation Chili Spell
Ease hurt feelings and soothe loved ones with some simple kitchen
witchery—namely, this quick and easy reconciliation chili. Serve with
cornbread spiced with cinnamon.

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 yellow onion, peeled and diced
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 pound ground beef or turkey
1 one-pound can each: black, white, and kidney beans, drained, rinsed
1 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes
1 teaspoon chopped rosemary leaves
Pinches of: clove, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, chili powder
Salt, to taste

Heat the oil in a soup pot, and saute onion and garlic in the oil for
seven minutes. Add the meat, and brown well. Add the beans, tomatoes,
and seasonings. Stir with intention for reconciliation. Cover and
simmer on low heat for 45 minutes. Serve with love.
