Horseradish Beef Sandwiches
- softened butter
- 4 tbsp. creamy horseradish
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 10 slices pumpernickel bread
- 1/2 pound shaved deli roast beef
- Lettuce leaves
Combine the horseradish and mayonnaise in a small bowl and
set aside. Spread softened butter on one side of each piece of
bread. Top five slices with the deli meat and top with a piece
of lettuce. On the other five slices spread the horseradish and
mayonnaise mixture. Place one of these slices on top of each
slice with the beef and gently push together while cutting into
triangles.
